The goal for my Internet marketing campaign development course was that I wanted to gain knowledge since it was my last course. I got my undergrad degree in public relations but I wanted to make sure that I was able to understand the marketing field. The first discussion was what a marketing campaign is I said, In my opinion, the marketing campaign is the advertisement of a product, service, business, or person whether it's through television, newspapers, blogs, radio or online such as social media. We also discussed the advantages and disadvantages of having one. The biggest assignment for this course was to complete the Internet marketing plan something we have been working on since the beginning of school. For me, it was very hard because I’m not all that good at grammar or math but I feel in the end that I did the best I could do.  The next assignment was to make a presentation discussing innovative marketing plans and what I learned from the plans that I could use in the future. We discussed how to implement a marketing plan as well as ways to effectively pitch it. Some steps for making a presentation effective would make an emotional connection with the audience, present with energy, and spell out the payoff for the audience. We had to do an assignment where we actually presented our Internet marketing plan mine was focused on investors. We lastly discussed social media policy in companies and gave a presentation regarding our on social media. I think that assignment really gets you prepared for future jobs making sure your social media is positive.
