disabled people don’t need to be “useful” or “intelligent” in order to have value. any disability activism that bases itself off of the idea that we can bring some kind of “useful addition” to society is leaving behind anyone who can’t.
disabled people shouldn’t have to try harder at everything than abled people just to prove that we have value and worth as human beings.
we’re humans.
and that’s all that should matter.

this is a game about killing Jewish coded characters after they team up with the literal nazis. there's side quests where you can visit house elves who are slaves, but it's okay because they like being slaves. this game is based off a series filled with antisemitism, racism, homophobia, and more. the lead developer had an anti-sjw alt right youtube channel where he talked about gamergate. money made from this game goes to a violent transphobe who is passing laws to get children killed.
don't play this game. don't buy it. don't pirate it.

I'm not a gamer and I already have a firm personal policy of never giving Rowling another dime of my money, but holy crap, this is even worse than I realised.
Not just that, but the antisemitic caricature Jewish Goblins not only team up with Nazi wizards, they team up to... lemme check my notes... oh yeah, steal wizard children. The only thing that's missing is the goblins drinking their blood lmao. Like at best they've gone for Fagin, at worst this is active blood libel. Not to mention that the Jewish-coded Goblins are an oppressed class that are limited in what work they can do (other than banking lmao) and what power they can possess, which is why they're rebelling. And it's your job as the player to put down their rebellion to save the status quo. You're literally on the side of the fascists. You are not an ally to Jews or trans people or BIPOC if you play this game. Your media consumption does not inherently make you an ally, but it does discredit you when you can not only overlook active bigotry but financially or culturally contribute to violence against us. Don't play this fucking game.
Apayauq Reitan, the first trans women to run Iditarod, finishes last and wins the “Committed Through the Last Mile” award. The award, given by Lynden, honors Apayauq for her perseverance and commitment to finish the race through unexpected challenges. The last half of the pack of those running Iditarod faced sudden and extreme weather that caused many competitors to have to scratch and be rescued by race officials.
Apayauq had seven dogs in harness at the time of her finish and although this was not her rookie Iditarod, this was her first one she ran out and proud as an Indigenous trans women.
Yes we should be worried! What happened to Japanese Americans in World War II. What happened to Afghan Americans or anyone even remotely middle eastern looking after 9-11. The Russians have nothing to do with what Putin is doing. In fact they are being jailed and shot for protesting the invasion.
You cannot blame the people for what their government does. I mean you saw Trump right?
