Third eye kisses 🕉 Gabe and I were friends for years before embarking on our romance. When we first met, neither of us were in a place to begin an honest partnership so instead we built a foundation of friendship. Lots of yoga, beers, concerts and hikes. Then on a full moon night everything shifted. I remember speaking passionately about a subject so much so that my face scrunched up. He softly massaged his thumb into my third and said, "relax from here." I felt my whole body release into an oxytocin high. Postpartum bliss belly! Roasted red & yellow beets, sweet potatoes and sweet onion. Add garlic, turmeric, salt, pepper and avocado oil at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Top with pecans and bam instant deliciousness. This was all made with love with #novaray as sous chef in her sling. 🍴

This is a golden moment -- baby basking in the warmth of my hands as she wanders off to dreamland. Other golden moments look like a massive blowout just after putting on a new diaper. Or observing her daddy practice yoga from her swing. Even scream crying for no apparent reason other than to be held closer. Motherhood is showing me that all the moments are golden. Each has their own nuance, lesson and glow. These golden moments are what make life worth living. #novaray
