Random Saiki K x BNHA prompt/fic that I havenât read before and really want to
(Saiki Kusuo as a UA teacher)
Saiki gets transported to My Hero Academia. He quickly finds a way to become citizen in the current world, putting himself as an orphan because he really doesnât have a choice right now when he has no actual blood relatives. So orphanage he goes to grow!
Through some means he does become a student of UA. Why does he even go to school in UA? Because through some statistical means it is the job that would be the least suspicious for someone like him who has way too many poweâ quirks (he also really needs the money in the future). Heâs not gonna show that off though, he doesnât want to grab too much attention in school. To little and it would seem suspicious, too much and thatâs overkill. He just wants to be an underground hero after all, the pay isnât too bad and at least he keeps his dignity. Heâll show enough to seem competent and âcreativeâ with the use of the âquirksâ he chooses to be his main powers. Telekinesis? Or strength, that seemed less flashy
He becomes great friends with Aizawa, a school mate of his from class 1A. (Because Kuso got transported way before the events in canon). Also they just vibe so well itâs strange they wouldnât be friends.
Kuso, now a professional hero for years is halfway complete in building his device so that he can finally go home, but heâs running out of money again just to buy the materials to build that thing. It doesnât help that he has to pay extra just keep his purchases of certain parts and chemicals discreet.
Along comes Aizawa, a friend he hasnât seen since their graduation, or really talked too since one of the Big 3 of their time died. Aizawa tells him of a position being open for an assistant teacher for class 1A back in UA, itâs kinda a part time job so Saiki would still be able to keep his job as underground hero. But what Saiki was really after was the pay. It was good and after a few more years, if he cut some cost on his coffee jelly purchases, heâd be able to complete the device and be home!
When Saiki Kuso does walk into class 1A many of the more rambunctious students think nothing of home, he was just an assistant after all. But Aizawa knew what he was doing when he approached Saiki, he could read people like a book and know what they were about to do before theyâve even done it(no he doesnât know Saiki can read minds, just thinks heâs very good at observing people and had become better over the years). Heâs quirk, Telekinesis while not all that powerful because of itâs difficulty to truly master and being limit by how much the person can carry, but in the hands of Saiki Kusoâ
âGet out my way you stupid extra!â Bakugo raised his hand, readying to fire. âYou donât even look like you could survive in a real fight.â It didnât help that Saiki did look like a painfully average guy. Heâs eye bags only added to that effect, making him look like a tiered office worker.
Saiki just stared at the boy with the familiar bored expression Aizawa had seen countless times before in their youth.
It also didnât help that Midoriya stood up trying to defuse the situation withââSaiki-sanâs still our teacher! We shouldnât be so disrespectfâ!ââuntil Saiki lifted a hand and Midoriya was sat back down and before Bokugoâs explosion could reach Saiki, it suddenly stood in place, like it was paused in real time. The only explanation was the faint green glow surrounding Midorya, Bakugoâs explosionâŚand Saikiâs hand to tell them who the culprit was.
âItâs a little rude to not even call your own teacher sensei, donât you think?â Even though Midoriya talked about respect it was a kinda hypocritical, at least he said â-sanâ.
âAnd using your quirk so brashly without a license,â Saiki moved the explosion to the side, revealing his face to the class, âis illegal.â
The air in the room fell heavy that you could fell the weight pressing on your shoulders, forcing you to the ground.
âBut at least,â he held the explosion out, he clenched his hand so hard that the motion pushed hair out of Saikiâs face, âweâre in a controlled environment.â
Just like that the explosion shrank into oblivion.
The whole class started at where the explosion just was. Like they couldnât believe what they just saw. Even Aizawa was impressed, Saikiâs really one upped himself since their graduation.
âThough Iâm sure this incident wouldnât go unpunished.â
Saiki looked behind himself, head leaning back, staring at Aizawa from the top right corner of his eyes.
And just like that, Aizawa Shota knew he screwed up when he didnât get rid of Bakugoâs quirk and had Saiki deal with it.
He didnât regret having Saiki along with him, the man had experience suppressing criminals, protecting people and keeping damage to a minimum. Itâs why he had the biggest salary among the underground heros, he was the least flashiest amount the least flashiest. And he getâs things done with cold efficiency, for the right price of course.
With him around, another incident like the USJ isnât likely to happen again during the sports festival.
