- She has harm OCD which makes her consistently and compulsively check in with her friends using lycanthropic telepathy!

- Funnily enough he also doesnt swear! He grew up in a really rich family who were weird about it (the rest of them live in a council estate so theyre from quite different worlds entirely) queue phrases like 'being intimate' and 'Holy Moly!'
- He is also autistic! Which might make the former point sound like infantalisation but I assure you Mitch makes up for it! Oscar also has sexual agency which means he's not just an innocent little bambi character. Anyway his special interest is Doctor Who? And he also loves art!
- You know those people who are SO smart but radiate dumbass energy bc they have no impulse control or like self preservation skills? Lolly speaks 3 languages (Gàidhlig Gaeliege, and English), knows how to code, got an unconditional offer to study maths at uni, and plays guitar however has an aura so powerful that gets them labeled the 'Loveable dumbass' of the group.
- Has been headover heals in love with their best friend (Radwa) for three years!
- Also has ADHD, BPD which is very strongly associate with some horrible childhood experiences
- Very introverted and struggles socially, another autistic character! When she needs to socially recharge she really loves gaming, specially horror games OR cosy games like Sims or Animal Crossing!
- In the book she takes a very inquisitive role trying to find out who's the culprit of the murders! She has a really curious mind and is really good at picking up patterns!
- Another ironic character her considering she is also smart as Hell - more so in the humanities she cannot count - she speaks six languages but still cannot find the words to confess that she has ALSO BEEN IN LOVE WITH LOLLY FOR 3 YEARS AND THEY ARE DRIVING ALL OF THEIR FRIENDS INSANE

Does anyone else often feel like growing up the only autistic representation you saw was a middle-aged, white, cis man who liked trains or maths?
Representation has slowly gotten better since then but I feel as though autistic characters are still often treated as children who can't swear, can't get intoxicated and cannot by any means express sexual or sensual desire. So with TBoTC I wanted to represent autistic characters as more three-dimensional people with thoughts and desires of their own. So that's what my characters are, they drink, they swear and not a train in site!
