Riptide ep 121+ spoilers

I hope Gillion doesn't forgive the elders. Even as we find out that Odilath was a sneaky bitch and there is a chance the other elders werent in on it, I hope Charlie doesn't pivot to only hating Odilath and not the others. I don't care if the others 'weren't in on' the short and stupid juice and whatever else, they hurt gillion, irreparably. They all physically and physcologically abused him and Odilath being a traitor changes none of that.

I love Gillion so much and I do trust Charlie but I am so scared that his trauma will be played down or forgotten alot more because 'there was only one bad elder'. Idk, if this arc ends with Gillion not having a breakdown over who he couldve been if the elders were kinder, if he had stayed with his parents, if he had worked a bit harder, if he had been a bit stronger, im gonna crash out.

Charles I better cry every episode over Gillion for the rest of the arc. Thank you in advance

Yeah, I'm especially hoping everyone (fandom included) doesn't forget that Celeste like actually physically abused Gillion since he was eight years old. No, her excuse of "thinking he has potential" and "tough love" approach does not change the fact that she hurt and shamed someone consistently for a good 14 years of his life. It doesn't matter if she thought it was "for a good cause" she was still aware that she was hurting him and didn't stop.

Already saw some people being like "Celeste was a tough love mom" no she WAS NOT. Hate it or not, but Odelath had a fucking point about going easier on the Champion. Gillion has physical scars from this. I'm still firmly on team The Elders Are Bad Let's Blow Them All Up
