What the heck? I’ll post a link. New(ish) fic. (Yes, I’m still writing Sam/Jack fic. I’m hopeless.)

Hmmmmm. . .

I think it's funny that, at the gym, all of the bathroom stuff is automated--toilets flush, faucets turn on, soap dispenses, and paper towels are all rolled out via sensors. Wave a hand and Voila! No effort required. Shouldn't gym patrons be working a little for these things? Shouldn't the toilet flusher be rigged to a thirty-pound pulley, or the faucet handles be equipped with ten pounds of resistance? Or something. . . Just a thought. . . 💪🏼

Ben's into a new (old) video game that reminds Jack of some difficult moments in his past. Luckily, Sam's there to put things into perspective. Fluffery-guttery fun. Completely inspired by my own kids and their addiction to Minecraft. Set around ten years in the future in my "Glinda Universe". Sam/Jack established relationship.

I'm binge watching "Community", and start laughing when I see this. Not only do I recognize this fabric ("Space Ranger" by Chris Sanchez and Michele Wojcicki for Avlyn Fabrics), but I own pretty much the entire line. I've made two quilts with it. Things I'm Currently Into. . .

Tagged by fooferah (And subsequently tutored by her, too. :)) One Song: To the River by Down Like Silver Two Movies: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (which I simply loved), and Startrek: Into Darkness (I can watch it over and over and over. . .) Three TV Shows: (ONLY three??? I watch a TON of TV while I'm working in my studio.) Firefly, Castle, and The Last Ship (anyone who hasn't watched this one is TRULY missing out). Four People: Eric Dane (seriously. so yummy.), Rhona Mitra, Amanda Tapping, Chris Pratt. Five Foods: Pumpkin bread, Pani Popo (a Samoan dessert--white bread baked in a coconut custard), Hummus with Sriracha sauce in it, Roast beef (it's in my roasting oven right now and smells Ah-Maz-Ing), and a really, really good tossed salad. Six People: If anyone I know hasn't already played along. . .feel free. No pressure.

When words multiply. . .

Then there's that time that you write a single provocative scene which is intended to be a stand-alone for a specific prompt, but which needs just a little more as lead-in and denouement, but those bits need a little more as explanation, and a few scenes as buffer, and then a few for history and humor, and the thousand-word scene ends up becoming ten-thousand words with no end in sight. . . Yeah. That's this time.

#TBT Three years ago, we spent Christmas in Monterey, CA. My oldest boy was super sweet with his baby sister--and still is, even when she's being "La Tyrantita". It's so weird to think that she'll be starting Kindergarten as he heads off on his mission next year. Seriously. Where does the time go?
