Send me “black bird” for a darker memory of my muse’s past
The only thing that comes out of his lips when he hears that Sasori is not in Suna and was last seen attacking a village without orders from the Kazekage was an “Oh,” followed by an uncharacteristically long pause— undoubtedly felt by everyone in the room.
The news came as both a surprise… and yet not. It’s stupid to expect Sasori (or anyone for that matter— but mostly Sasori since he has gotten a taste of power) not to have treasonous inclinations. Ryōzen did something like that when he was working for the intel division. He was slowly prying informants away from the Kazekage and expanding the information network, creating one that was loyal to him instead of to the government. But this… leaving the village? Attacking another? What for?
Ryōzen finally picked up his brush and started writing on the official parchment. “Akasuna no Sasori of Sunagakure is hereby considered a missing-nin. Word of this is to be sent to every shinobi of Suna. It is not a priority though, we are still at war. Ideally, he would be captured alive and would stand trial… if he has anything to say to his defense.” Though, this does count as treason and either way, unless Sasori was coerced into it (what a laughable thought), he would end up dead.
