Not Shonda Rhimes calling me out...
My mom has gotten me hooked on the Beyond the Gates soap. I love watching all those beautiful Black people living their luxurious lives. Only thing is that thereare new shows daily, it's hard to keep up. I have to binge when I have free time.
Heather Collins ‧₊˚ ☾. ⋅
patron saint of those struggling to conceive
i miss collins so much even though we barley knew her for a full season, she deserved so much better
A lot of y'all didn't care about Heather Collins not being in Season 2 or missing for the last episodes of the first season.
But now not that things aren't going the way you want for your faves you want to invoke her name.
But a lot of y'all didn't care about the Black woman.
And now y'all are underhandly calling Parker Ellis being a main character a DEI hire.
Many of you think of yourselves as progressive, but your anti-blackness is very loud.
I know I'm bored when I start scrolling through Tumblr. Because I really don't like Tumblr. So many people have a horrible opinions that they present as fact. No nuisance ever detected. Nuisance is missing from social media as a whole though. Also, there's a lot of racism / anti-Blackness from people who deem themselves progressive.
I need to log off and just read a book.
Took off and I saw the skyline, and the arch reminded me
this was too clean
I want to write my fanfic <- isn’t writing my fanfic

"I've never heard of Megan Thee Stallion before" if you've ever said any variation of "Hot Girl Summer" then congratulations you've benefitted from an internationally popular Black female artist's creativity
"I thought those were just memes" yeah y'all tend to do this to a lot of things Black people create and/or do, while conveniently cutting them out in the process. You should really consider how easy it was and why that is. I do have a suggestion.
It might bother me a little less (but not much) if I didn't have to log on and there's Random White Guy/White Girl #262849 that we're all apparently supposed to recognize as Pivotal Pop Culture, but Black artists who've been putting in work for years and actually affecting your entertainment in ways you don't even bother to perceive are somehow "just celebrities" that you missed. You're telling me I'm supposed to know who Jerma is, but Megan Thee Stallion is miss-able? Mmmm Something's Fishy...
