Sometimes he wonders why he keeps going out of his way to meet with the detective. Their relationship seems to be one of an delicate balancing act between friendly debate and outright arguments. More than once, and perhaps with a healthy amount of internal back and forth, Akira has wondered if Akechi even actually likes his presence, in all genuineness. Despite how much he seems to thrive in the spotlight, Akechi has always struck him as someone who prefers to be in his lonesome.

But Akira is a rather nosy individual, and one that prefers to thrive in the presence of others, doing something rather than spend a day cooped up in the attic. Perhaps that is why he finds himself tracking the detective down, if only to spend an afternoon doing...well, whatever they end up doing can be a spur of the moment decision.
