A favorite of mine from the great French cartoonist Jean Chaperon, under the caption "Bonne fĂȘte!" (Happy Holiday) ⊠the strikingly beautiful woman emphatically states âI'm always ready to get into a fight for my friends!â with the man replying âthat would mean a good share for everyone!
Bonne fĂȘte apparently does not refer to a specific French holiday. Rather, every day on the standard French calendar corresponds to a specific Catholic saint's name. On your fĂȘte (name day), friends or family members often wish you a "Bonne fĂȘte!".
This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
Here's some of my favorite still shots from that video:
What do you think? đ„°
so i just sat down to eat my âim really drunk mealâ at 4am and sat next to this guy drawing and asked if i could check out his work and this is what he had just finished working on
I think about him often. Where is he now? Does he take commissions? Who was he? Is he still drawing? Is he single? I feel like Cinderella with no slippers.
Curiosity killed your dad, Curiosity killed your mom, Curiosity killed the cat, the squirrels and the other cats. Curiosity killed the sun, curiosity killed the moon. Curiosity killed each and everyone of us each night. Curiosity killed the previous death, and freed to wake up and ponder the next day. Curiosity killed the next day. Curiosity killed the calendar. Curiosity will kill the satellites, Curiosity will kill the artificial sattelites on the orbit of the planet earth. Curiosity will kill the automobile. curiosity will kill television, cinema and the printing press. Curiosity will kill debit cards, credit cards, and Curiosity will kill banks. Curiosity will kill banks. Curiosity will kill tuberculosis, curiosity will kill cancer, Curiosity will kill space tourism, sexual tourism, religious tourism, Curiosity will kill private jets, and missiles and drones. Curiosity will kill drones. But Curiosity also killed Orphan Annie, Cinderella and Anastacia. Curiosity killed Pollyana, and so many other pretty girl names. It's a duty of Curiosity to now invent prettier girl names, or there wont be a way to call out when they are far, and curiosity will be alone. Curiosity can not kill Distance or Loneliness, The names of the ghost wheels of the ghost car (Curiosity killed the car), Curiosity drives around. I am not sure what the other wheels are called, or even how many there are. It could be that it's as many as legs of centipedes. Curiosity's body does seem segmented and Curiosity does stay close to the ground and Curiosity. Curiosity killed my certainty about certain particular things. Curiosity can't seem to kill particularities.
you are not immune to inventing an arbitrary set of rules that only you have to adhere to
Why is everyone so fucking smug. There is something wrong in this damn world.
Also, i have a gastric problem that makes me feel often in pain and annoyed for no reason.
I think both of those things are true. And its fucked up!!!!!
Can anyone explain wtf is going on here especially a Korean speaker
someone on reddit explained đ
That is one of the most astronomical fuck up translations I have ever seen.
Wednesday night risqué fun ⊠Popeye a tengerész (Popeye the Sailor), a 1947 book of erotic artwork by Hungarian artist Alexander Szekely (1901-1968)
whenever I see a post about a guy called jay and realise itâs about jay ntbts and not jay bauman I hit my head really hard against the wall and scream WHY until my neighbour calls the police
You guys dont realize what a powerful type of fujoshism would be born from the mix of this two worlds. Mike Stoklasa found a way to live Ntbts the movie in real life through the time machine called VCR and never let his two guys leave his life.
a comfortable enough theory on the afterlife for me for now
i am thinking about death too much perharps. i heard memento mori is healthy for you but i am sure if someone close dies soon i will feel at least a bit dumb to have been thinking about it now, and not then. So i want to just let myself fantasize a bit, then cut it out, for a while. Apparently the idea of a movie of your life, some people who have near death experiences cohoborate it. they might be lying, but i like the image. but it's lonely. maybe like...if it played on an actual theater, and it's a nice one, not like any one i have ever been so far, the people you love most are around. so you get to experience it again, but with those people. And it's not unconfortable because those people are not judging you, because they gone through death and it made them less judgy. And some parts are funny. And everybody is happy it's a long one, because they get to be on the theater, and you get to talk to them, but also somehow pay full attention to the movie, and its not annoying to anybody. yeah, that can be it for now.
Actually, i dont picture a movie theater at all, i picture people on multiple tables like in an awards cerimony, but more specifically i think Disney Clubhouse i think was called the fucking thing? the afternoon cartoon block, and they had all the character from the fucking movies but they were simultaneously like actors who played themselves on the movies i guess, and the animation never matched the one on the movie and i think i was frustrated as a kid, but now on my memory they are all animated on a movie budget. That is how it is in heaven i guess. i think actually there might be intermissions in between like i dont know every 5 years of life so we can talk, we dont talk during the movie. I dont know why i would want to transpose multitasking to the afterlife, i think i just wanted a capability i dont have in life as compensation, but i dont need it.
