its not even about "gatekeeping" you just ruined all of the hours people spent researching just so people who don't truly care for cases get easy access now everything people spent years looking for is surface information
I've never been more dumbfounded by something in my life.
As if I don't do research myself and more than happily share it. I would LOVE for people to know more, and I'm working on sharing everything I've managed to find.
"Just so people who don't truly care for cases get easy access now" ... good? Why is that a bad thing? Is there a bouncer at the door of the Academy Maniacs fanclub that won't let you in if you don't 'care' enough? This is how people start to care. They learn about it first.

Making information accessible is so, so important. That's why I make translations and archives, so people can learn more, so the information that is buried and difficult to find is easier to access. Why would you want people to know less? Why would you want more misinformation and confusion?
You're just upset you can't have your elite ball knowledge anymore.
It is wild to me that this is a genuine complaint. Please find something real to be mad at.
