What he was about to say was a flat out lie, while he did want to talk to her, he wasn’t ‘good’ in any way, but the fact that he was evil didn’t really matter when he was actually trying right? Oh boy, did this one have a mouth on him. His remarks (though rude) did remind her a bit of her friend Merc. That being said, Emerald just grew annoyed with her colleague and this boy was heading in the same direction.
Emerald crossed her arms, her lips twitching into a scowl. “That part I can handle, it’s more like getting out of here. You could say I’m a traveler and need to get back home. I just can’t find the portal.”

Kakine shrugged his shoulders before focusing closely on what Emerald was saying, he was trying to pick out potential changes in attitude or facial features. So far no real change..

“Mums the word, my dear.” she placed one hand on his chest gently as they walked, before drawing it away, her eyes half closed “You aren’t exactly normal, are you?” she questioned “You don’t feel like a normal human, anyway…Are you a mix breed of some kind? A magical parent? Or do you have some sort of special talent?” the woman looked at him, those golden yellow rings burrowing into his skull “I’ve heard humans sometimes manifest things meant for the fae and fair folk. You one of them?”
Honestly, he was pretty surprised by how she was acting around him. Staring at the hand on his chest.. Not a familiar practice here in these days, however he was going to call her out on it. She was obviously from a different country and followed different rules.

Emerald hated being lost. What’s worse is that she was alone and lost. The girl could handle herself easily, that was no problem. What really irked her was how unfamiliar this place was. She definitely wasn’t in Vale, that’s for sure.
Emerald hated asking for help, but this situation needed it.
“Hi there.” the smile was innocent enough. Her hands were behind her back and her head was canted slightly to the side. Her whole posture and demeanor came out to look harmless. “I’m very lost and I was wondering if you could help me?”

Another harmless act, oh how Kakine grew tired of that here in Academy City, actually, he didn’t even know it was an act, he just assumed it as no one was to be trusted here when you’re a rank five Esper like him. Many people are after your head after all.
【✗】❝ Hm? You look like a big girl, old enough to protect yourself. You’re in Academy City, personally I think it’s a pretty dull place, but if you like it I could care less. So how’d you end up here? ❞
The woman smirked a bit “If you saw me in a different light your opinion would be different…I am a succubus darling, I change to meet everyone’s standards. This is just my about-town get-up.” she motioned at herself, hand going to one thick hip “But thank you. The four eyes is the only thing I prefer to keep from my true form when I change into others. It makes me feel more comfortable.” she motioned as if asking whether she should take his arm “Lead the way, cutie.”
Honestly, he was surprised to meet a succubus. But hey, it was nice to learn how certain things were true about them, and maybe some other things weren’t. For the time being he stayed open minded, with no real judgement towards her size or form she may decide to take.
He then took her arm and nodded, honestly it felt strange, but since she had no idea about the whole Academy City Esper stuff.. He was fine with this.

She tilted her head to the side, eyes half closing “well now, are you not just right and full of yourself?” the woman gave a little laugh “I have no plans to seduce you, even if I did need to feed at the moment. Do not get me wrong, you are awfully cute, but I am not so blatant.” Elizabeth scoffed slightly before stepping closer towards him “But yes. I could use a tour….I am looking for a place to stay.”
This all sounded dangerous, and something he really didn’t want to get involved with honestly. But the more he focused on the strong female approaching him, the more he wondered if maybe he should give her a chance. Finally he sighed. His home wasn’t really much compared to others.
【✗】❝ I don’t usually do this for anyone, but until you find a place to stay I can let you in at my place. Okay? Not sure where you’d sleep though. Tch.. Thanks for the compliment I could say the same for you, even though you have four eyes, seems unique to me. ❞
“Neither human nor esper, if that is what you mean.” she brushed her hair out of her face and lifted her chin in almost haughty manner “I’m a succubus. You know, a demon? Don’t worry though I don’t plan on hurting anyone.”
Now here’s where he started to wonder even more, his eyes narrowed a bit before focusing back on the female with four eyes. Demon or not, succubus or not, he had to be careful.
【✗】❝ Ahh, I know your type, it’s good to know you don’t plan on hurting anyone, but that brings up the next question. Are you planning on trying to seduce me? Well, either way, do you need to be shown around here?❞
“No. I am not. I am from France, originally.” she struck a little pose “Can you not tell from my accent?” the woman gave a playful laugh before straightening her coat “Why do you stop me on the street with such questions? Am I not allowed to be here?”
His hunch was right, it had to be. She was some sort of creature that even he had no idea of, not scientific, not religious.. She was , she had to be something else. So he decided to slowly go about this with caution.
【✗】❝ Hm, Academy City is a bit closed off on the rest of the world. However I can tell based on your accent, why I stopped you? Well I suppose there’s something about you that seems different from most humans, and Espers here.. So tell me, what are you?❞
The woman tilted her head, all four eyes looking him up and down curiously, before a small smile came to her face “Well now, aren’t you a forward one. My name is Elizabeth….what is your’s, hmmh?”
Still, he found himself wondering what in the world was going on, he needed to know just in case she was a threat. He didn’t care about the well being of the entire city. Just him specifically and maybe some innocents if they got in the way of her.

The diclonius girl said with a smirk printed upon her face, her tone sounded strangely calm, which was new for that caothic and noisy side of her , in fact she always liked to walk around cities to create some trouble around, that was something that amused her more than everything, and nothing could ever stop her.
Martine approached the guy which was standing in front of her, she was keeping her hands in her pocket while her gaze was locked into his eyes.
❝ Who are you? ❞
The new face was quite interesting to say the least, however he saved judgement for later. currently he was focused on keeping himself safe . When anyone is that confident as this person was, he could only imagine just how deadly they could be under that grin or smile. He decided to keep things simple, his hands at his sides while waiting to see if she’d make a move on him.
【✗】❝ Kakine Teitoku, and who are you? ❞
As he stared at the person who approached him, Kakine almost was frozen in disbelief. Never before in Academy City had he seen someone quite like this, which made him wonder was this their Esper ability playing tricks on his mind? Or maybe this was actually how she looked.
Kakine slowly took a deep breath, trying his best to calm down before saying anything. They did look somewhat dangerous.
