Finished the au! Figment!!

Also we definitely need to catch up on AvA bc what's Rocketcorp. What's a Mitsi <- Guy who was last on the internet four years ago

Well not really, it's been like 6 months since we came back but still

Haven't really caught up on anything yet anyways

Fun fact: when we were reading Fantasy au we thought King and Gold are ur OCs for a hot minute the last piece of official AvA content we've seen is Showdown

PFT. Okay that is really funny. Since they are not xD the only OC's in fantasy are the Gang that sealed away Destruction, C&D itself, the Emer who shows up in a good amount of my au's whether mentioned or not, as well as Solitaire and Anais. Well- and the new kingdom gang I was working on too x3

OhDear. Would not be great for Alan! Especially if it's the version where it is/could be virused itself. Although by that point they'd have probably gotten a handle on not infecting things, so if he was a virus cursor it'd prob have to be the former- in any case, no fun times- although the virus gang are prob very nuzzly

I'm okay! Just tired, and trying to get some kind of work to get money- I posted commissions on my main blog due to that x3 but otherwise I am okay. Actually feeling more hopeful lately, too

Prob gonna look through the Figment stuff soon not rn bc we're picking through another au in the fandom but after we're done w that one we're back here!! :D

y'know how figment was originally the cursor and Mitsi's silhouette is kinda cursor shaped

..Huh. Well that is kinda spooky to think about x3

And technically Figment can still take on a cursorlike form, it just tends to stick to- pft.. well, more sticklike forms as Vic's perception of it changed

I mean, makes sense. That rule gets broken because Vic isn’t around to perceive it.

Speaking of, does Mitsi affect it in any way? Since moving from one mind to another might be like changing states of matter for a thought form.

Also, how’s Mitsi doing, and what does she think of her new headmate? Even if she hasn’t been given much time to process… any of this. She’s probably very lost on everything

Yup! I also did change the color for this specific drawing...

I imagine a tiny but, but not as much as it should, because Figment is... more a fragment of Vic here, which is why it can feel and think, because now it's less a figment and more a fragment. So yes but no? It's less Mitsi herself affecting it, and more it being in this situation affecting it.

And she's not... doing the best. I mean, understandably. But she's coping and moving forward. Because she has to. And clearly, the world needs that right now. And her new headmate... is the best source of information she has right now, and from what she understands, a.. parting 'gift' from Vic.

there's no Chill Time in the middle of all the action happening in canon right now but i imagine if they had a moment to breathe and prepare. my god figment and mitsi would have some things to talk about.

i think this scenario would manage to make even fig feel awkward, none of the usual confidence, just kind of shellshocked and reticent. having to break to mitsi the state vic was in after she died, and deal with vic being essentially gone right now, and their entire worldview about chosen being shaken- s'a lot!

fig will Not Think about the depth of emotion they are feeling and the implication behind the word 'feeling'. it is Not The Time

Yup!! Not real time to talk, sadly, and so Mitsi is having a time with this. Thing. But it seems to agree with her, and while she didn't appreciate it calling Vic an idiot as he DIED... she can tell it. Cares. And it wants to get Vic back, from whatever is happening, because she does not know much- But it fills her in on at least a bit of what happened before hand, dancing around some topics but- that Dark tricked Vic into a way to revive you- yes, with a Kid, yes it realizes how that is, but later- but instead used it to trap you away and it's guessing, it was going to control you. But... Vic freed you, and left it with you. Which leaves so many questions but. Later.

Later, just like everything it is 'feeling'. It can't acknowledge that. It can't. As a last spark, it can't.

DIGITAL ARMAGEDDON WHAT THE HECK

That was insane omg. Mitsi coming back, Vic searching her memory and finding out the truth, the epic fight, the Dark Lord killed and took control of everyone! And poor Second :(

Alright, I GOT AN IDEA.

With Vic/H4CK3R using the last of his strength to give Mitsi her free will back, what if (if we go with Figment Noogai AU) they also transferred Figment over to her? Since he’s actively dying, if he dies, then the mirage is no more.

Idk, and aside from that what do you think of the episode in general? It was AWESOME

I’m just imagining Figment cheering Vic on during the fight with TDL too lmao

SPOILERS Y'ALL- I have tagged but please do not read if you do not want to be SPOILED

Mannnn if it was a Vic/H4ck3r attached enough to Figment- yeah they'd probably do that. As it is yelling at them come on- come on- it knows Vic is dying but it is the single part that is fighting- and for once, it is surprised.. as Vic transfers it over. In a sense, making it real yet not. Because it is still a Figment of Vic's Imagination, but now? It is a shard, a fracture, a small piece of Vic in Mitsi. So all Mitsi see's is Vic dying in front of her. And all she hears in her ears is a voice she doesn't recognize calling out to Vic and calling him an idiot while sounding upset. Dang BUT OH YEAH ABSOLUTELY, Figment would def be cheering Vic on. GET HIS BUTT!!!

Hey, how have you been? Hope you been well lately and that you’re doing great with your family and friends and in the other aspects of your life. You have such interesting ideas and I hope you can share more later. If that is impossible right now I understand, please don’t push yourself to do it if it is.

I have been doing as well as I can, that's for sure! Doing all I can to make myself happy and keep myself going- and all things considered, it's going better then it was!

And hey, I'm always happy to answer asks about anything- and I do have thoughts- maybe I'll share one I've had recently later if I can get a doodle of it done
