This Puss Moth Caterpillar can be seen between July to September was taken at my local RSPB Nature Reserve Old Moor and they seem to kepp being removed by some selfish person because they are dissapearing along with the whole branch that they were seen on this will probably ruin it for everyone as the site stays open while 8pm in the summer after the shop closes at around 5pm so peeople can visit after work which is probably when they are being taken off the site. Taken with a Canon 7D and 70-200mm lens with a 31mm extension tube, i use the zoom ring to focus on the subject. Basic edits in Lightroom were crop to compose, slight adjustments to exposure, contrast, blacks, whites, enabled lens profile and removed chromatic abberation, reduced noise with luminance smoothing then resharpen and mask, then finishing touches in Photoshop auto contrast and smart sharpen and thats pretty much my editing work flow for most of my wildlife images.
