EVERYONE STAY CALM, THE DEMO DROPPED!
With Trivia Murder Party 3 on the horizon, it's time for me to give our favorite serial killer a new outfit! In the demo, we finally got a... well, I wouldn't say a FACE Reveal. But we get to see his shadow, so we got an outfit/silhouette reveal for [REDACTED]!
From what I can make out, he seems to be wearing a hat and trench coat. As such, I've given my [REDACTED] design a sleek new look! The demo looks promising so far, so I'm hype!
I would like to see some of your paper art too, and posting that on Tumblr would be nice. You should go for it!

Where am I?
Soooooo it has been a few months since I last uploaded here. The truth is; I just don't enjoy making digital art anymore. Any time I try to make a digital piece, it feels more like a chore than an art project. Especially since my stylus has a bad habit of just NOT working when I want it to.
I am still making art, of course. It's just been purely traditional at this point. Sketching in my sketchbook, painting, some crochet, and some smaller craft projects. Lately, I've been working on junk journaling! It's basically a collage of various paper sheets, scraps and random things I've collected. It's been a great way to use all the little things I've accumulated.
But where does that leave DeviantART and Tumblr? Well, I don't plan on leaving this website, but my uploads are probably going to be pretty different from now on. If you guys want to see the traditional stuff I've been working on, let me know. I'm still drawing characters, of course. They've just been chilling in my sketchbook.
I still want to make stories for my characters and ideas, but they'll be taking a different form. I find that making webcomics really drained my motivation. (Sorry Yinshi) I might try my hand at making a traditional comic, if that's something people want to see.
So, yeah. That's where I am right now. Sorry, I don't have any grand reason for my absence. It's just something I've been meaning to put to words. If anything I've rambled about sounds interesting to you, feel free to stick around. I'm forever grateful for all the support you guys have given me over the years. Whether you've been here since the start or if you just followed me yesterday, I appreciate each and every one of you.
It's always nice to redraw an old piece of art.
A remake of the webcomic means a remake of the thumbnail! Not just because of the new Yinshi design, but it's the chance to experiment with different techniques. And I realized, I never signed or watermarked the old thumbnail. Whoops! Fixed that this time! Not much to say about this one.
I need to stop procrastinating on my webcomic!!!
After much consideration, I've decided to remake and restart my webtoon series "Sweet Yandere Boy"! I haven't touch the comic in literal YEARS, and I know people want to see more of it. Idk, I just haven't felt motivated to work on it. But no more! I'm starting fresh, from the top!
That starts with giving Yinshi a makeover! Something about his old design was never quite right. Plus, he looked too much like a girl, which is a curse ALL my male OC's have. Now he looks more like a boy, while still having his signature softness. I kept the colors mostly the same, but I'm changing the way I shade him. I hope you guys like the new look, and I'll start working on the remake!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I WAS going to make this more detailed, but my stylus was fighting me the entire time. Oh well, I'm happy with how this came out. I may be single, but I won't let that stop me from enjoying this holiday all about love! Besides, self-love is just as important.
I think I'm getting better at drawing Lolita outfits! For this, I mixed my usual purples and lavenders with some soft pinks for a gentle Cupid-inspired design. On Valentine's Day, I usually try to spread love to others. Last year, I baked cupcakes. This year, I baked some strawberry cookies! I hope you guys have a nice Valentine's Day, even if you're just treating yourself today.

Last time, I made a Ghost type Eeveelution; Graveon. That was a fun project, so I tried my hand at another one! This cutie is a flying type! I'll call it Cloudeon! I imagine this one flies around by flapping its giant ears, like Klonoa or Cream the Rabbit. Maybe hop around on the clouds for fun!
I had a clear idea for this one and the Ghost type, but I don't have any clear plans for other types I could do. If you guys have any ideas or types you'd like me to try, I'd love to hear them. I'm going to try and make more digital art this year. Once a month, at the very least.

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year is to FINALLY work on my Etsy store! While I've been making a bunch of crafts, my Etsy has been gathering dust! No more!!! That changes this year! If I want my art to become an actual career, I need to get serious about it!
So this will be the new banner! I wanted this to capture the whimsy of my art style, with a flowing rainbow of paint as well as my persona. So yeah, you'll be seeing this around my socials!

I felt like Artroid's Art didn't sound right.
It's been a while since I've recolored, huh?
I've been hyper fixating on Sonic the Hedgehog lately, which led me to making Petal again! Weirdly enough, this one was easier than the last one, despite the more complicated fashion. It helps that I had Petal's piece at the ready. (Never underestimate your references, folks.)
I can't get over how pretty she came out! Look at those colors!!! The dress wasn't AS hard as I thought it would be. I was going to add designs to it, but I was happy with just the folds and ruffles. I really do want to get around to her story one of these days. Another thing for the to-do list!
It's never too late to make spooky stuff!
I randomly felt inspired to make my own Eeveelution, specifically a Ghost Type evolution. I've seen a few ideas for this, but none of them really felt right to me. So, I made my own spooky Eevee! I gave her a ghostly translucent sheet, extra wispy fur and a few roses. I wanted this design to both feel like a ghost, but have a touch of elegant to it.
I think I'll call this Graveon. Rolls off the tongue nicely. If I make more Eeveelutions, I think I want to try Flying Type next. I have a few ideas for that one. If you guys want to see me make more Eeveelutions, let me know.

If I want to turn my crafts into a career, I think smaller plushies like this are the way to go. I've made some larger ones, but they take WAY longer and devour my yarn. This way, I can make detailed pieces and still have enough yarn to make another one!
If I forget to draw something for Halloween, consider this my spooky art!
I randomly felt inspired to make some pastel gore artwork. It's weirdly therapeutic to make grotesque yet adorable art like this. Maybe it's drawing a bunch of sweets, or the flowing guts I get to make, but there's something relaxing about making pastel gore art. IDK, that's probably a "me" problem. I'm the type of girl who listens to true crime shows while cleaning the dishes.
I made the linework easier for myself by keeping the different colored lines on separate layers. I had the main body lines on one layer, the guts on the second, and then the extra stuff on the third. Originally, I tried my usual blended method for shading, but that didn't look right. So, I went with cell shading instead. Weirdly enough, that went pretty fast. Usually, cell shading takes me a while. If I'm getting the hand of this, I might do it more often! It really helps the piece pop!
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this! I know I don't make digital art as much as I used to, and I'm sorry for that. I think it'd be better if I made digital work when I'm truly inspired, instead of trying to force it. I hope that's okay with you guys.
THIS is why I haven't been making much digital art lately.
Don't get me wrong, I will always love drawing characters and making stories, but lately, I've been thinking about making my art into a genuine business. One way to actually make a profit via art is by making crochet! Who wouldn't want a cute strawberry?
So I've been busy with crochet. Ever since my family friend taught me the basics, I've been feverishly crocheting. I've made other stuff, but these are the cleanest things so far. My plan is to make a bunch of things to fill my inventory and then revamp my Etsy store!
I hope you guys like my little strawberries! How much do you think I should sell these for? I'm open to suggestions.
Well, I did FOUR attacks this year. That's better than the three I did last time. I thought all the stars, hearts, and flowers in the terrarium would be trouble, but it was actually a lot of fun doodling them all! I should randomly put little details like that into my art more often! It's a simple technique that adds so much to a piece! Good thing to add to the tool belt! You guys know I always love using soft, pastel colors in my work. Muffy here has the perfect color palette for a dreamy, cloudy scene! Plus, I think it'd be cute/funny if her little house could run around like a majestic steed! Here you go, OpheeCookie!

I find it funny how a seer, someone who can SEE THE FUTURE, cannot read.
Ace and I have known each other for a WHILE now, and I've loved seeing their art change and develop over time. We're both big Jackbox fans, so we've really bonded over our shared love of the franchise. I'm always happy to see stuff from them, whether it's Jackbox or Danganronpa! They're working on a Danganronpa fan comic right now called "Danganronpa: Game On", and so far it's really cool! I'm looking forward to where the story goes!
Anyway, on to Dawn here, I had a LOT of fun with the effects on this one! I love using purples and shadows for magical effects, so I experimented with Overlay filters! I think the shading and extra details are my favorite parts of digital drawings. It's more forgiving, I don't need to be perfectly steady with my hand, and the results are amazing! Here you go, Ace! I hope you like it!
