“you haven’t researched this place? it’s creepy as hell. i read through the basics of what this place was and what could be found here and i know i ain’t sleeping good anytime soon.”

“n...o, i haven’t. i don’t research until afterwards because i want to write about my initial feelings and findings first. i don’t want to be influenced by the information.” albie almost muttered, feeling his cheeks become hotter. “but hey, i guess using the time for work rather than sleep is a good thing?”

“has anyone else just…not been sleeping lately?” he stared ahead, coffee cup between his hands. “i can’t get comfy enough and then when i do i keep thinking about creepy shit and i stupidly read this place up online and i don’t think it’s gonna be getting easier while we’re here.”

albie rubbed his eyes, stifling a yawn as he reached for his own coffee mug. when he registered what the other said, he nodded, gulping down his drink. “now that you say it, i haven’t been sleeping too good either.” he said, his eyebrows knitting in confusion. “i thought it’s because i spent so long working through ore notes but - my room just isn’t comfortable.” he muttered. “why? what’s going on in this place?”

ashley has already misplaced his camera, having put it down for just a moment to set up his stand. he furrows a brow in disbelief “have you.. seen my camera? I swear i just put it down right there..” he smiles over to the other before letting slight panic set in, “fuuuck” he groans. 

albie looked up in surprise, not expecting someone to be talking to him. “a camera?” he muttered, his brain finally processing what the other had said before he began looking around still stood on the spot. “when did you put it down?” he asked curiously, trying to think of a logical explanation.

he wanders around the area , checking in on his crew mates and their equipment , then moving on quickly when things are all set . asher isn’t in the mood to socialize , and being a believer or not , the place gives him the creeps . as soon as he gets to the bar , he lets out a sigh when he sights albie clearly too preoccupied . ‘ hey , ’ he says softly , knocking on a wooden surface . ‘ you need any help with anything before i fuck off ? ’

albie had started making his notes. he always made too many but he was a perfectionist and he wanted to have a good starting point for when he had to write it up - much better to have too much than too little, he found. he was so interested in his notes that the sudden noise and voice made him jolt, an exasperated laugh leaving his lips as he realised it was just asher, his hand moving to his chest as he looked up to the owner of the voice “shit - sorry, man. apparently this place is bringing out a jumpy side.” he chuckled, placing his pen down on his notepad. “i’m all good actually, just making my notes for later.” he smiled, his brain catching up to the situation. “...actually, while you’re here - could i ask you a few questions? i just want to get a well rounded view on how this place makes people feel or if you’ve noticed something i’ve missed.”

albie wandered around the theatre, taking in each detail before it was time to sit down for the show. his eyes scanned each detail, design and glamorous piece of furniture. he ran his fingers along the wood of the bar, his finger tips dancing along the smooth surface. when he reached the end of the bar, he finally looked up, noticing that there was no one around, he sat himself down on a stool and pulled out his notebook, beginning to make notes for later.
