I did have a longer write-up planned, but a short one seems appropriate. This was the final stop on their Ghost Stories Tour, and was an absolute blast. Definitely glad I got tickets for this, and that I managed to see them live finally. It was only a bonus that I also got to see AlunaGeorge, who were also brilliant.

Created two versions of this wallpaper, one with and without the lyrics of I Was Born For This, the closing track of Austin Wintory’s soundtrack for the PS3 game, Journey.

Otters

Two oriental small-clawed otters (aonyx cinerea) pictured, getting close and comfy. Oriental small-clawed otters are the smallest of the otter species, only around 0.9m metres long. Their synonymous small claws make them particularly dextrous animals.

More animals from Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. A pair of otters looked to be getting rather lovey-dovey.

Reticulated

A reticulated python (python reticulatus) lies, coiled in a bundle. 'reticulatus', meaning 'net-like' in Latin, refers to the intricate patterning of the snake's skin.

This snake was pictured at Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens during a trip to the Oxfordshire countryside with the family. The python was bathing in the rare English sunlight, causing the rainbow-like iridescence of its scales.
