So I had this idea of making a version with metaphor colouring (that's what i call it), between yellow and blue (light and dark), apollo being in a light environment because he's in the world of the living, whilst he himself is blue because he's sorrowful. Vice versa for clay, he's sinking in the afterlife, but he is content at last. He wants apollo to let go of grief so he can allow himself to move on, be happy again, so that clay can be happy too. (hence why in my head the "let me let you go" is in clay's POV, asking apollo to no longer hold onto his sorrow, and hold onto his death, so he can let go too and rest in peace.)

In the pieces above, i kept this little philosophy in the overlay i put, there's both orange and blue, and they alternate in the same way yellow and blue do in the version right below here. Apollo didn't come out as well as clay came out so I decided to keep this one under the cut </3 pretty fun to try out though.

It's so funny that starset actually released Silos right after i started this piece and then the lyrics took me out immediately, I MEAN LOOK "Let me let you go, we're dead inside and dead below. Not only did I get the master of chatter achievement, I also finally maxed out my qinghe exploration right before I logged out 😭 The cliff tossing truly did work!!

NEVER!! Could've been better but my burst wasn't ready augh, SOMETIMES I'm even able to keep executing him at the start of second phase before he can even do the pillar thing it's hilarious because it's useless but I do it for the love of the game

ANYWHO! here's the abyss run :3 I panicked because I realised in the middle of the fight that I hadn't actually applied fire oil from the start .....

AND YES ALL MY DISCIPLES WILL GATHER ROUND AND FIGHT HIM. UNTIL YOU ALL LEARN HOW TO BEAT HIM UP

I love how one can tell just how many times you've fought this guy skdkdkd. You knew exactly when to duck and everything. I LOVE immediately pummeling him with that umbrella attack at the beginning, his coughing is like we just punched the lungs right out of him. And he goes FLYING too.
