I’m so proud of this piece! I learned a lot while working on it, including facial expressions, shading nude figures, and backgrounds. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m growing with each piece I create :’) 

I won’t be providing much context for this piece, as that would be spoilery. All I shall say is, yes, this is a scene from one of the books. It’s a highly emotionally charged moment and one of the darkest I’ve written. Also just so it’s clear – this is Indigo and he is a trans man (he/him pronouns).

My new OC, Yamini :)

I posted this elsewhere, but instagram has such terrible quality that I wanted to post a better version here!

First full body piece of Yamini! As always, they have dramatic, wavy hair because drawing it is way too much fun.

Yamini is a rather tragic character. They have been cursed by the goddess of death herself to a miserable, deathless existence. As punishment for committing necromancy and attempting to sacrifice a living soul, they now exist as a living ghost, cursed only to appear to others as the face of a lost loved one. Yamini has long forgotten what they used to look like, or even their own name.

Finally! I drew Cyril as a man. Here is my little nonbinary child getting emotional over the moon because he loves it so much.

Oh, the joy of book covers! I honestly can't get enough of them. There's something so special to searching for that one image that captures the feeling of a story. It makes me very happy. This lovely piece was commissioned by @witherthymewrites on Instagram who is writing The Lunar Heir, a standalone epic fantasy novel. It's got adventure, it's got romance. What more do you need? It was a blast to make and I hope to get more cover commissions in the future! :)
