Okay so like, I've begun writing a book recently, and this is the most invested I've been in a writing project in quite some time so. Heads up that I most likely will once again be going radio silent. At least this time its not drama or depression! I'm very excited about this book- once I've gotten more than five chapters finished im going to start talking publicly about it. Likely on a side blog so as to avoid clutter here. Love yall!!!

Ah been with t’ boss a while now. ‘E uh... he’s not sum, sum evil guy. I’d know ‘cus I’m good at tellin’. But... Things happened, b’fore ‘e took me in. I dunno what exactly, jus that t’ boss got real angry at sum folks and now he’s tartarus-bent on gettin’ back at ‘em.

He’s not the monster you seem to think. His recent actions aren’t exactly glowing, I’ll give you that, but he isn’t a bad stallion. At least he wasn’t always.

He has goals, vengeful ones, and he has it in his head that the ends justify the means. I’m done being complacent, so I’m going to show him that he’s wrong.

We dunno if this’ll even work, Moss. T’ boss might really get pissed.

Any who may have cared for me will never again return, as I refuse to so much as glance at a necromantic tome, and those I’d once believed cared for me, long ago, have betrayed me. I will not make the mistake of growing overly attached again, even to those currently close to me.

Yes, that includes my own s- daughter.

Why do you think this is a good idea, Moss? We do this, and any number of things could happen. Boss loosing his mind for one.

He’s already lost it! I just want to try and jog some sense into his addled brain. I know what he’s trying to do with all these experiments, and... I don’t think we can stop him from that..

But maybe we can convince him to be more ethical about this. He doesn’t have to hurt anypony who doesn’t deserve it.

What if he needs to do something for his latest subject’s painful curse to be lifted like he says it will? You know he expected you to do something drastic sooner or later.

Yeah. Yeah, I know. If this doesn’t work, then... We’ll figure something else out. The one thing I trust about all this is that he won’t hurt us, regardless of what we do. Piss him off? Yes. But he won’t hurt us.

Tarot is one of my personal favorites, especially when I’m using my enchanted deck. Alchemy is a very peculiar mish-mash of things, and every alchemy user I’d known in the past had soft spots for the very specific types that made it what it is today. Oddly enough, I don’t actually know the origin of Tarot, nor where its position in alchemical practice even started- and I’m practically a living archive of Alchemy, its history, and the history of the practice’s inspirations! It’s really more or less a fun little card game of faux fortune-telling if you ask me, but it is not without some credibility, on occasion. IF you are using some other magic or whatnot to supplement the shortcomings. Like enchantment!

Sorry for taking longer yall, things are settling down but im still a little on edge. I'll get back to work soon as I can pick up my tablet pen without getting kicked in the gut by residual anxiety.

Ugh, once again I am hindered by real-world woes. This time it’s family drama. Luckily it’s not too bad so it should sort itself out within a few days, but man am I exhausted with dealing with this crap.

He wasn’t always a monster.

He was a good stallion once, with a good heart.

But something happened, and he’s lost his mind.

The effects differ, wildly in fact, dependent upon additives. Additives are just what you might expect; an ingredient added to the whole that changes the overall composition to some degree. Liquid curse is quite versatile in that manner. it can be altered by simply.. adding a physical ingredient, altering the ritual with particular wording or changing the chalk lines, or by some other magic before the curse takes hold.

It is possible to make things permanent, as was frequently done when used as a punishment. Though this poor lass here will only suffer for about a week at most. A way to deter future criminality from the cursed individual or the general public. I once believed that it was rather cruel and unusual. I still hold that belief in fact. However....

Well, one must sacrifice their moral high ground to achieve things they otherwise could never accomplish, do they not?

I trust in the strength of your kind, indeed, however there is a notable limit on how many curses one can have upon them.

Indeed you are such an outstandingly terrifying and malicious figure. I understand that your kind have great power, power that I deeply appreciate and find truly fascinating as a topic of study and discussion. But.

I do not appreciate being messed with. Especially not now, when I’ve chanced upon a very, very rare opportunity to finally have my goals achieved. Years of searching, and learning, growing my arsenal of knowledge and magical prowess- I’ll finally... finally-! ... Ah. I’m getting a bit too worked up, perhaps.

This is a pony of which I have no genuine ill intent towards, you see, so while I have no qualms with experimentation on her, I also have no reason to keep her in a state of suffering forever. That just wouldn’t do, now would it? I need the live subjects, but I do not need their eternal agony! Tsk tsk, what a waste of upstanding individuals that would be for certain.

And, yes, it will make her transform. Quite ghastly, really, the poor thing. But that’s just how voracious this particular mish-mashed curse can be. ‘Mild’ punishment my right flank... The.. particulars of it would take some time to explain though, really its all quite fascinating but very complicated even for my tastes. I do detest these old alchemical methods. But! One must make sacrifices if they wish to attain their goals.
