i’ve always leaned toward being a loner… not only because of shyness, but also from the fear of being perceived differently by different kinds of people. most of the time, i find myself observing and waiting for the right moment to interact, rather than initiating. it’s not easy for me to make the first move :< i often hope others will reach out first?? that’s why being part of a community feels so important. it gives me a sense of belonging that my timid personality craves. more than anything, i just want to be seen not as different, but as part of the group too. i only hope that being part of a community isn’t as difficult as it feels sometimes, and that the connections i build can be genuine. okay, bye :)
