The great Tumblr exodus is upon us - and I need ideas

As most of you probably already know, this site is about to commit sudoku by banning pretty much the only reason it was ever relevant - NSFW content. Any page that ever had any NSFW content, anything resembling NSFW content, or anything that might imply NSFW content, is to be foreboden starting Dec. 17th. Naturally, that means me.

So here’s a question to you guys - where should I go? Twitter seems like the most popular option, so I’ll make an account there even though I don’t know anything about it and it doesn’t look very NSFW-y to me. But what else? What other resources are there where I can post my horse porn and chat with fellow horsefiddlers at the same time? Where else do you guys look for that kinda stuff? Come on now, give me ideas, preferably in PM or asks.

Also, let me just say - won’t miss this site one bit.

For such widely used resource it’s incredibly clunky and unwieldy, among other things. One time I wanted to clear out my dashboard, to have it only for my own posts for utility and aesthetic reasons, and to have more control over who and when I watch, so I had to unfollow everyone I ever followed because there was no other option to sort them or customise that or anything. Then I had to browse all those other blogs manually, one by one, only to realize it didn’t do crap to actually clear my dashboard, because as soon as I stopped following anyone, Tumblr started to fill it with random suggestions that “might be relevant for me”. Spoiler - they weren’t, and since there was no option at all to disable that either, I had to use 3rd party extensions just to get rid of them. Site so bad it literally needs to be modded by community to be usable.

Well there’s also that thing that I basically went through ‘social media puberty’ on this site as well. When I started this blog it was the first time I had to deal with being moderately popular, and as such I was nervous, excited, naive, and very confused for a while. But now I’m older and more mature - which means that I still have no idea what’s going on and what should I do, but I’ve learned to accept it - and all those times I horribly embarassed myself publicly are about to be safely buried in the graveyard this site will become. Nice.

Though on a more bittersweet note, I’ll miss all those cute little interactions with other artists this site made possible through reblogs and stuff. Not that I ever had any of those, because I’m antisocial fuck with no friends, but still. One thing this site had going for it, was that it was pretty unanimously considered the ‘main’ one for artists like me, so everyone was more or less in one place. Now that it’s gone, we might end up scattered all over the internet... Eh, or we’ll have another site take it’s place within a month. It’s one or the other.
