she is the only child of king louis philippe iii and queen bรฉatrice, daughter of a germanic monarch/noble (ie belgium, luxembourg, germany, austria, switzerland, iโm keeping it open...u know cousins plot)
unfortunately for bรฉatrice her husband louis philippe was not faithful, which led to an unfortunate cycle of women in the kingโs life and more than a few half/bastard siblings appearing.ย
it was only by the time she was in her teens and attending lycรฉe louis-le-grand ( with alum such as victor hugo, robespierreย , and baudelaire)ย in paris that alexandrine as the only heir to the king began to appear in public. hours of school in the day and appearances at galas, openings remembrance days in the evening.ย
she was after all raised to be the queen
with more and more influence being pushed onto alexandrine once queen bรฉatriceโs fertility issues came to light after years of trying for a sibling.ย
however it was always talked about like she wouldnโt be queen for years, that she would be old and gray before the issue came to be.
