I love Hope to death and always will, but as a long time fan I can’t bullshit around. She’s done some terrible stuff while representing the USWNT that she hasn’t had much punishment for and you have to admit, enough is enough has to come into play soon or later. The comment would have been swept under the rug had she not had this long list of bad decisions. It sucks to see her hurting because I know how much football means to her, but she’s also an adult and she can’t be pacified forever. I hope she’ll be able to play again, and I also hope she learns a lot from this experience too.
