Yellow warbler!
The pattern is the blossamer shawl from chiaroscurosity on etsy. I used 2 skeins of a hand-dyed mohair and silk blend from Matchbox Yarns and it turned out absolutely stunning and so fluffy and drapey. Made with a 3 mm hook.
Burnout.
Red Cardinal!
Bluejay and red-winged blackbird!!

Not one, but two spam messages thus far off this single picture.
Red Cardinal!
Bought some cheap markers and a teeny tiny little sketchbook to take some of the pressure out of art. I really really like the results so far, working on a small space with a limited choice of colours is such a fun exercise.
New theme/blog name btw!!!
It's almost my birthday!! (March 24th).
I should:
Learn to knit
Buy more yarn (◕દ◕)
Try to crochet a shirt/sweater for the first time
Take a break (booo)
Other answer/bald
My most recent project!! Over 2 meters long, very light and fun and great to get back in the springtime mood
My current work in progress!
Biggest benefit of my yarn bowl thus far: late-stage yarn puddles just look like delicious noodles 😌
Adorable crochet bunny with fluffy Bernat Blanket chenille! The pattern is by ChloeFriendly on Etsy for only $1, and 100% worth the purchase if you're interested (link)
(Art is under the cut if you're not interested in reading, lol.)
Hi everyone!! Way back in January, I signed up for an event hosted and organized by the wonderful @absolutely-existing - the 2025 Brotherband Gift Exchange! This was a wonderful experience, and I'm really glad I chose to push myself with my art for this- I've broken my record for layers used at a horrific 82 over a much more reasonable seven total hours of work.
I'm really happy with the end result, and I'm really really grateful to the organizer(s) of this event, as well as whoever's making my gift 👀 (this post is scheduled in advance, and I haven't seen it yet!!) You can see more art and fic created for this event over on @brotherband-exchange-event-2025 if you're interested, and I really recommend giving some love to all the incredibly skilled creators involved.
Anyways, to get to the main event, drumroll please...
