“I can’t believe I didn’t kill him for such a public proposal,” Alexa laughed, shaking her head. She paused, pulling the cup away from her mouth. “I believe that’s fake, but I don’t think I can drink this anymore.”

“100% I knew, who else does Levi have to tell?” Mason asked, he raised his cup of punch, “He’s got you, and he’s got me.” Mason paused, “Occasionally Irena.”
“That’s true,” she chuckled, shaking her head as she took a sip of the (clearly spiked) punch. “I can’t believe he actually did it.”

Mason knew, he had known, it was in his brain of knowledge. “A congratulations are in order, a shiny ring on your hand and a cup of juice in mine because this is prom and we can’t have champaign.” He offered her a cup of punch.

levi smirks and shrugs his shoulders, hands finding a spot on her hips. he kisses her and holds her closely and tightly. “ well now i’m yours to hate foreveeeer. “ he comments in a whisper against her lips. his tone is teasing but the way he looks at her is pure and full of admiration.
Alexa giggled against his lips, nudging her nose against his as he continued to kiss her lightly. “Seriously, who gave you the idea to do it in public? Because that’s so not me.”

“True. Honestly, you are way tougher than him. He is such a wimp sometimes,” she joked about her best friend’s boyfriend.
“He really is,” she laughed. “There’s a reason he told Mason I hit harder than him.”

“I feel like you would still give in if he begged enough. Then I lose my leverage,” she pointed out, pouting a bit. “I could hold you hostage at my house and not let him in. It would be hard for him to find you with all the rooms there.”
“Seriously? Have you met me? I may be his weakness but he is certainly not mine,” Alexa smirked at her.
levi is on top of the fucking world. he is nearly floating through people and he turns to the person closest, “ have you seen my girlfriend ? ” before they can answer, he speaks up. “ ha trick question. I dont have a girlfriend. I have a fiancee.” he grins brightly.
“You’re so cheesy,” Alexa rolled her eyes, throwing her arms around his neck and pulling him close, kissing him quickly. “I hate you for making that so public.”

“It’s not like I can lift you up and threaten to take you away from him if he doesn’t behave. You wouldn’t allow that and he’d just steal you from me,” she pointed out. “I need to find something that is like my candy weakness.”
“I mean, if you give me enough warning I’d be down,” Alexa shrugged, a smirk on her face.

“It may come in handy some day. You gotta find some way to keep that boy in line. Even I can’t control him and I’m great at making people behave. Levi is the one person I can’t make listen to me,” she admitted with a shake of her head. “But I will find his weakness one day.”
“If I figure out how to make him actually listen one day, I’ll let you know,” Alexa chuckled before smirking. “His weakness? Honey, you’re looking at it.”

“I mean, obviously, but you would still be the one in charge. You could just make it weirder and carry a whip around too,” she joked with a soft giggle.
Alexa laughed. “Not exactly my style, but I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Um…” Noelle said, looking around the room before back at the blonde. “Sorry, no. Maybe you should keep a tracker on him. Or a leash,” she said, joking lamely.
“See, a leash wouldn’t be a bad idea, but knowing Levi, he and Mason would turn it into some weird sex joke,” Alexa chuckled.

it’s all how he had planned it; the stage in the auditorium, which for now has the curtains drawn, is covered with rose petals and levi is pacing back and forth behind the curtain. he doesn’t have stage fright, but he does have might get rejected by the love of his life in front of the entire school fright. he gives one look to some younger, geeky student who he got to help him out with the whole ordeal, other than mason and freddie. the curtain opens and levi is standing center stage, with a microphone and a spot light comes on. “ uh hey. hey guys. how’s it going… “ he clears his throat. “ right, okay. so. i’m not gonna stay up here long and be an asshole and hog your prom, but i have something super important i have to do. “ he scans the crowd until he notices the blonde, and then his attention and focus is locked on her. “ lex, “ he starts and grins, a boyish curl of his lips. “ i love you. you know that, everyone knows it. you are the hottest, and smartest and sexiest and most important person in the world, in my life. and i don’t want anyone else ever again. you’re .. my life, lex. and i hope you feel the same way. i think you do. so, i’m just gonna… “ then he does it. on the stage, in front of everyone, levi gets down on one knee, fishing out a small and velvet box fro his pocket. “ alexa marie kovac, will you marry me? “

Alexa had spent most of the beginning of prom looking for him. It had only taken a few minutes for Levi to sneak off, probably with Mason, to do God knows what. And while Alexa knew that this was his prom, not hers, she wanted it to be perfect. For his sake. The two of them had not had many normal occurrences during their upbringings, but Alexa was determined to make prom as normal and enjoyable for the two of them as possible. They deserved a cliche once in a while. She had just finished talking with Freddie when she began looking for him again, and then there he was. On stage. With a microphone in his hand. Suddenly, Alexa’s heart was in her throat and she was nervous. That got even worse when he began to speak. All eyes were on her and she smiled a little, though her cheeks and chest and really her entire body was bright red with a blush. She wanted to kill him for bringing all of this attention to her, and yet she loved the gesture. That was when he got down on one knee, and she thought she might faint. “Of course, you idiot,” she called over the crowd--the only words she could muster without vomiting--as she made her way towards the stage.

“The last time I saw he was walking through that door but I don’t where he was going. Maybe the bathroom or outside.”
“Probably outside. He gets weird in big crowds like this,” Alexa nodded. “Thanks though.”

“He just kind of... disappeared. But that’s pretty on brand for him,” Alexa sighed.

“I think he went to the bathroom with Mason.” Amara could not believe she was here and in a yellow dress, but she lived to shock people. “I think a guy on the baseball team has a taser, I heard screaming.”
“The two of them are always gravitating towards trouble,” she sighed, brushing some hair out of her face. “You look pretty.”
“Have you seen my date?” Alexa said sharply. Levi had disappeared within minutes of entering prom, and she hadn’t been able to find him since.
