You got bubbling mud pools, steaming vents full of sulfur in the ground, wholes in the rocks that just collapsed because of geothermal activity....⁠ And then you got the Champagne Pool! O.M.G.⁠ This is such a wonder.⁠ ⁠ The water is quite acid and is dissolving different materials turning the water kinda blueish. The weather was not too good, but by the evening it stopped raining and we finally got a glimpse of hope for a nice sunset.⁠ So we set out for one of the bridges, offering a nice view towards the Basler Münster.⁠ And then the magic started to happen :) As the sun was setting it created this wonderful glow just behind the Münster.
