Sitting "properly" would certainly reduce a lot of the pain that comes with desk jobs, but this video gets all the important things wrong. All the boxes under the feet, and ergonomic tricks won't ease the pain if you are sitting with unnecessary tension. And adding tension by trying to make sure your shoulders are pushed down or your chest pushed up is even worse. It's this sort of thing that makes me wish everyone could have some Alexander Technique lessons, because they show you how to sit without pain or tension regardless of the chair or height of desk.

Another example of a product that claims it can change a lifetime of unconscious habits. Most of these products rely on compression and reduction of movement, when the problem with most people is that they are already too compressed and need to learn how to release habitual muscular tension and move easier. This is what Alexander Technique is meant to address, the whole body tension patterns we all use everyday. A fancy sports bra is not going to help someone become aware of and alter the tension in their legs, something that is just as important as where your shoulder blades lie on your back. 

I haven't worn this myself so it could feel very good, but the point is that a static piece of fabric in standardized sizes can't possibly help a customer become aware of their full body holding patterns and learn a new, easier way of functioning in day to day activities.
