Alexandyr Rowan | 40 | Married to Rosalie Costayne | TAKEN | Ian Somerhalder
Alexandyr Rowan is the oldest son of Lord Mathias Rowan and his wife, Bethany Redwyne. Since he was a kid, Alexandyr has been a trouble maker. The older he grew, the more his father pressured him to marry, hoping that settling down would keep him out of trouble. Alexandyr, however, did not want to marry. He had too much to do in life to already settle down into a marriage. Alexandyr started to sleep around with any woman he found attractive. When his father found out, he sent Alexandyr to Kingās Landing to straighten him out. He was messing around one day in the training yard by himself, one of the Knights saw him and offered to take him on as a squire, saying he had potential. Alexandyr agreed, and he became a full fledged knight by the time he was twenty years old.
Alexandyr traveled around, competing in small tournaments and winning many of them. He continued to sleep with woman across the seven kingdoms though. His father was not happy, and no longer wanted Alexandyr as his heir. He asked the King to offer him a spot on the Kingsguard, to which he did, and Alexandyr accepted the position when he was twenty eight. He didnāt take his vows seriously though, and took trips to the high-end local brothels whenever he found the time. But Alex changed when he fell in love with Dacey Mormont. He allowed his more caring side to come out, but gave her up to Benjen Stark as he was unable to marry her due to his position on the Kingsguard. But when Alex was injured in the fire during Daenerys and Viserysā wedding, he suffered an injury to his hand that stopped him from being able to fight. He lost his position on the Kingsguard, but Rhaegar gave him Rosegrove and all of its lands.
As soon as his father heard that Alex was free to marry once more, he arranged a marriage between him and Clayre Florent. Although he was unsure at first, when Alex finally found closure on losing Dacey, he became content with marrying Clayre. At least until he lost her too. Clayre died of an illness during the Dornish rebellion and Alex found himself alone once again. Alex was able to use the war as a distraction from his grief as he called his banners and led his men into battle. But as soon as the war was over and Alexandyr returned home, he found a letter waiting from his father. He had arranged a marriage between Alex and Rosalie Costayne, the daughter of a noble house in the Reach.
Alex initially fought against the match, but eventually gave in to his fatherās demands. He knew that Mathis Rowan would not rest until he saw his son wed and heirs produced to secure House Rowanās claim to Rosegrove. When Alex finally met Rosalie, he certainly was not disappointed. As intelligent as she was beautiful, Alex found himself charmed by the young woman. Although his father is trying to pressure them into a rushed marriage, Alex is standing firm. He has agreed to marry Rosalie, but he will marry her when both of them feel comfortable with it, and not a moment sooner.
The two became comfortable with it very quickly, and soon wed. Rosalie became his Lady of Rosegrove, and soon after, the Lady of the Three Towers, a lady in her own right, due to her fatherās death. Her and Alexandyr began to try for children, and their first attempt ended in disaster, almost destroying their relationship. Thankfully, the second time ended up much happier, and the two had a baby girl named Arelie, who quickly became the center of her parentsā worlds. Fortune strikes Alexandyr and his wife yet again, as Rosalie has recently told him she is pregnant with another child.
