The idea is rather simple. One prompt, a time frame. Anyone can create one (or infinite) art piece as strictly or as loosely based on the prompt and share it on their SM.

We're so excited to share our official calendar for 31 Days of Augustellar, and we thank everyone who submitted prompts! Choosing only 31 was a difficult task, but we hope the final collection inspires some great ideas for our upcoming event. The above image is a condensed version of the prompts that were chosen; all prompts will be listed in their originally submitted format below the cut, AND for each daily prompt post throughout August. Look under the cut for a full write-up!
Please Take Note!
Augustellar will be running from August 1st to August 31st. We're sharing the Official Prompt List now so that all participants have some time for ideas to percolate or to start one some basic artistic groundwork, but the goal of this event is to create art every day for 31 days. That means no blasting off early!
Keep an eye out for our upcoming posts about how Augustellar will work, our rules and guidelines, and the prize polls! Amaze amaze amaze!

Are you a (Destiel) writer?
If so, come join the third round of the Destiel AU Reverse Big Bang!! We have 70 (yes, 70!) artists working on absolutely incredible AU ideas that will need writers (that's you!) who want to write a fic about them.
You might say...
But I've never done a reverse bang before and I don't know how it works.
No problem! You won't be the only newbie, so questions are expected and welcomed. The basic idea of a reverse bang is that writers claim art from an anonymous gallery to write a fic about. It's a great way to make friends. Still have questions about the format? Take a look at the rules!
But I don't know if I'll have time.
We have a very generous schedule to give you plenty of time to write and brainstorm with your artist about the world you're creating together. Check out the schedule here.
But what if my writing isn't good enough?
We're beating you over the head with a newspaper until the impostor syndrome gremlins go away.
But what if I change my mind about participating?
There's no obligation for you to claim an art piece if you happen to look at the gallery of works by our 70 (70!!) artists and see nothing that inspires your muse. In the meantime, you get to hang out on our event server, which we like to think is one of the most fun places in fandom. We have group reads of fics, unhinged SPN finale rants, channels for writing advice and sprints, and, best of all, a bracket-style tournament where we pit AU Deans and AU Cas's against each other to decide once and for all whether Muppet Cas is superior to Alpha Cas. (Yes, we're a very serious bunch.)

When choosing what gifts you want, please only select the options that you'd like to receive! Give us as much information as you can!
Please note, for podfics, you may only request podfics of fics that you have written or asking your giftee to write a podfic for you! They may not be of someone else's work.
Some things to note! The person giving you a gift is not the person you will be giving a gift to. Please keep who you are creating a gift for a secret until your gifting date!

It will be more like A - > B - > C - > D - > A.
If you drop out of the event a pinch hitter will take your place and you will not receive a gift!

Harry beamed at him, and sneezed.
Where the youngest member of Deanโs family had just been standing - barely reaching Deanโs hips - now stood a perfect replica of Dean himself, facing him at eye level.
Although Dean couldnโt be happier for the kid, it hurt to witness the developments of othersโ powers time and again. As he smiled at his nephew, the gaping hole inside him threatened to swallow him, and pulled him into a bad mood once again.
He had thought one day the pain would fade, but it never did. It kept gnawing at his insides, creating an abyss that threatened to swallow him. All his life, he had been the bystander when his family and friends discovered and revealed their special abilities.
Dean had smiled at them. He had been genuinely happy for each of them and celebrated their special day. After all, it was a turning point in life; a highlight that eventually changed everyone.
