So, for some reason I had the idea to design padawan braids for my Jedi characters in Swtor, but neither really have a normal apprenticeship. In canon anyway, this is just for fun. I just have Adan’s rn, so Omyari’s will come later.
Yap session below!
Overall Adan’s training was focused more on combat, stealth, and meditation.
Combat is important to any Jedi’s training and Adan found it relaxing in a way. Well, sparring and training at least. The repetitive motion of going through katas and memorizing the forms made it easier for him to keep a clear mind and stay focused. He knows most of the forms and how to use them, but because of his double bladed lightsaber he has to practically modify most forms to fit his weapon. Overall he mostly uses form VI Niman and its variant Jar’Kai.
Stealth is also a specialty of his because of Force cloak, which is apparently a rarer ability. Even before the Jedi Order Adan was good at keeping quiet and his training has only amplified it. Sometimes he’s not even trying to be quiet he just is and it scares the shit out of people sometimes, though he usual apologizes after.
Now Adan has problems with attachments, as I’ve ranted about in another post. He forms bonds quickly because his bonds were all he had before the Order and emotional bonds are very important to a child, not to mention a traumatized one, but everyone knows the Jedi’s rules on attachment. To ensure he wouldn’t let his guilt or fear cloud him Adan would regularly meditate to sort out complex emotions he’d feel, often going to his Crèche master to ask for clarification on what he was feeling. This was an especially helpful habit during his teen years
Since it’s fairly evident in the image, yes, Adan has a Varactyl—and yes I realize now I spelled it wrong in the image. Anyways- Adan has a very extensive interest in biology. He absolutely loves plants and animals and is fascinated by them. This mostly stems from the fact he hadn’t seen a green plant until the Jedi took him in when he was nine. He met Lira on a planet-side exploration lesson when he was fourteen. She was the runt of her clutch and was abandoned by her family. Adan found her and tried for days to earn her trust until she followed him back to their ship. He’s been taking care of her since, with permission of course.
Goodness I’ve been yapping about my boy for a while. It’s 1 in the morning rn why am I even doing this?
swtor question of the day: does your PC have any children? how is their relationship to your PC? if your PC chooses not to have children, do they have anyone to pass on their legacy to?
Victor and Akaavi found out that she was pregnant about a month or two before the start of KOTFE. So he missed the birth of his daughter and wasn’t able to reunite with them until the Alliance was created five years later.
Now I have an AU with KOTFE and KOTET to include most of my characters. So, when they’re captured by Arcann, it’s just my Knight who’s put into carbanite. The rest are imprisoned in the same facility, just in another wing. Then three years down the line Lana, Koth, and T-7 break them out.
So, Victor is waiting in his cell for three years, unaware of what has happened to his Riduur or his child. When he found them again he was thrilled and in complete awe of his daughter. He spent a whole week simply clinging to them both. Like if either of them needed something, he already has it. They need help, he’s already there. He does this because he feels incredibly guilty for not being there for Akaavi when their child was being born and for not being there to support either of them. He tries to be as present as he can for his daughter and his wife.
As for my other characters, yes I do have children planned, just not at the moment.
I plan for Handrō and Vette to have a daughter after he’s left the Alliance to settle down with her.
Omyari (JC) and Arcann are going to have a daughter as well, but that’s sometime after Legacy Reborn.
I’m undecided on whether I want X’jad(BH) and Theron to adopt a kid or not, but I’m leaning towards yes.
As for my characters who won’t have children, they teach the younger generation at the force enclave on Odessen.
Adan(JK) helps teach and train some of the younger students when he’s not busy with leading the Alliance, though he has his Varactyl that he’s had for years. She’s kind of like his scaly child.
Su’lani(SI) doesn’t really have much interest in kids, but she with help the ones at the enclave learn and train from time to time. She’s passed down her knowledge in her studies and that’s enough for her.
So I was replaying some of the chapters from KOTFE because I like doing that sometimes and chapter two was one of them. I was just having fun and then I got to the part where you have to go through the republic and you have the side quest to revive the civilians. Now, I usually don’t pay attention to quest titles, but apparently I did this time. The title of the side quest was “Too little, too late.”
If I wasn’t actively in the SFAWTDE/DAWTDE fandom I’d probably be fine. But that song is literally everywhere on my feed! Now I can’t stop thinking about my Jedi knight and that song. I swear this song can be applied to every fandom.
I don’t even know why I’m ranting about this. It’s too late for this…
After playing both sides of Legacy Reborn, I wanted to share my thoughts on this finale. Though I will be focusing more on the story aspect than the gameplay, since I didn’t have many problems with it.
Spoilers below!
Over all I like the branching POVs, the combat, and the Malgus lore. I’m probably gonna read his novel after this.
I am grateful for the Mando’a option when Shea dies, sometimes I feel like the devs forget that for the Bounty Hunter sometimes—and I know that they have to cover every class story so they can’t do that all the time. Still I’m glad when they do include that.
On that note—Holy shit Shea died! Out of everything that could have happened that was not on my radar.
The only thing that kinda irks me is the ending. You have your weapon at his head, the temple is being bombarded and then they just role the credits. I understand it’s to set up the next chapter/era, but I want some closure on what the hell just happened. Like I want to know the damage of what’s happened. How hurt is my character? Is Malgus alive? Is anyone still inside the temple hurt or dead?I get some people like a cliffhanger, but i don’t feel like know was the right time to use one.
And finally, still no Scourge. I understand only a select amount of players even know he’s gone, those who romanced him, but I had a little hope for something since his message was about him leaving to discover something to help defeat Malgus. We’re well past that now!
Logically, I understand it’s not a priority to the Devs in the slightest—if they even remember. I also understand that there could be trouble with the VA(I have know idea) or just trouble bringing him back into the story since I know a lot of players won’t care. This is a minor issue, but I still miss him.
I am looking forward to how this will continue since Malgus did win. He got what he wanted and used Nul’s machine. I just hope we get closure during the next update.
I need somewhere to shout about this, so hello tumblr!
My own art teacher wants us to use ai for a project.
I’ve already had an iffy opinion on her since she uses an ai generated image of herself as her school profile picture. Red flag, I know, but it was just a pfp for her own use. It wasn’t being shoved in my face and it was her own personal use. I didn’t like it but I’m not going to fight a teacher.
But now, she’s enforcing it to be apart of our work. An art teacher wants us to use chat gpt to recreate another famous artist’s work! The actual project itself was to recreate a famous work of art with your own style or interests. That sounds like a great project for the end of the year, but no! She’s forcing us to use ai to do it!! I even asked her if I could not use it, but she was adamant about it. And for context it was either the ai art or give a presentation from the pov of a famous artists. I gladly chose the presentation over using ai, but when I said that she tried to explain why! She was giving the excuse of using digital materials but I wasn’t listening at that point.
What makes me more upset is that so many people are actually doing the ai assignment.
I just needed to get this out of my system. I hate ai.
actually guys, i need to be fr. if i can be agents georg, i wanna flip the opportunity for my fellow swtorians to bring me into another class story relationship that usually leaves me scratching my head. so, this one's for my jedi knight people:
what connects your knight (or doesn't) with orgus din?
my one consistent headscratcher with knight is that, clearly, a rapport's meant to be established there because they want to take advantage of doing something to it by alderaan - the execution of which i find bungled and, to be very honest, i... might have thought my character was overreacting the first time i played it. <.>
i know i have knight-having mutuals out there and it's a class i haven't spend time looking deeply into the fandom side for. it brings a lot of interesting elements to the table, absolutely, and i understand some of its appeal. again, i'm in a camp, having played all 8 class stories at least once and often at least multiples times to certain points (some completely, some thru expacs, etc) that none are bad, but... i think there's some connective tissue lacking in execution sometimes. knight struggles to give me the set up that would make me feel its intended payoff is... emotionally earned/established, if that makes sense?
so like. orgus as written leaves me feeling more like he's the guy that's always going for a smoke break after every conversation/the dad that's always leaving to get milk and never coming back. which, if i step back and look at the idea behind the character - a jedi master who doesn't take another padawan for years because his last fell after a deeply traumatizing time for not only that padawan (bengal), but the jedi order as a whole (the sacking of coruscant), that can be a really compelling character. that's an interesting viewpoint to have of the jedi order, and what it means to someone to be a jedi.
i just... don't know if i necessarily understand the writing's intent when it wrote him as the jedi knight's master for tython? because of all the "mentor-"adjacent characters in all class stories, i... never feel like i spend a lot of time with orgus. which... for the kind of payoff they want to slide in on alderaan is... really odd? i find the inquisitor and zash and the warrior and baras to have a more readily established and consistent rapport, and the latter even readily admits he's willing to sacrifice your life for his goals as early as dromund kaas, y'know?
so i wanna give people an open invitation to tell me how their blorbos feel about the relationship and invite me into your interpretation of the dynamic. do you take what's here and run with it? do you headcanon something further that's not "in-text?" did you write something else completely for your knight? if they're close, they're friends, they're not, they couldn't care less - whatever it is, i wanna hear about it from the people who love the knight class story like i love the agent story, lol.
i don't think i'll need to qualify any statements or anything, but just in case: there's no wrong answers to personal enjoyment with your blorbos. i really liked chatting about a chapter two choice in agent the other day, and since i'm in a knight replay and i'm going through some of my feelings with the writing of it again, i figured it'd be cool to see reads put together like that kind of post?
so. tell me about your jedi knights <3 and maybe why it is your favorite class story, if it is.
I like Orgus as a character, I find him to be kind of relatable or at least funny at times, and when I first played through the story I was kind of shocked that he killed off.
I understand why it was done in retrospect for lore and in game. But I realize that we really didn’t get a lot of him as I first thought.
As for Adan’s, my knight, relationship with him, they are—well were—friends. Kinda like that point where you’re not just surface level friends but not ultra good friends, you know? (I think just good friends sums it up) Anyways, it’s like that. Their relationship is more like peers that learn from each other, than a mentorship.
But still it’s not a whole lot of time to get properly attached to someone, so why is Adan? He gets attached easily. Why you may ask? Trauma! What else?
But his attachment to people is due to the fact that for his first nine years of life he was a slave, so everyone he held dear was either taken from him or he was taken from them. During this time his attachments were all he had, to him they were everything. Especially his sister. One night he had run away after their master tried to spilt them up when he was found by a Jedi knight, Lyla Suran. She is his mentor figure and my miralukan crèche master.
Lyla brought him into the Jedi order and looked after him herself. She was in charge of small crèche group, which also includes my consular. She taught them the core traits of the Jedi order and helped them work on their individual strengths.
She helped Adan with the trauma of being a slave and the guilt that he harbored for those he left, like his sister. She helped him learn how to cope with it properly and how to communicate effectively. He built very strong bonds with her and the group, and while it is indeed an attachment he’s learning to not let it control him. He believed he was safe for once, but then the sacking of Coruscant happened.
He was about 12 when it occurred and he was hit with the fact that he wouldn’t be safe, and he let that fear fester for a while. The progress he made on getting better reverted back about a year or two. Lyla had to help him communicate his feelings again. She had him talk it through with her, helped him find ways he could cope or work through this fear without letting it take hold of him.
She taught him how to defend himself, but most importantly others. She taught him that he is not alone in that fear and that he can still have hope.
Lyla was the one who put in the work of training him in the ways of the force, on how to control his force stealth, on how to not let his fear control him.

I’m posting again. I’ve finally gotten out of my funk with digital art, and it’s thanks to this big guy. Even ifs it’s not polished and finished I like the rendering so I’m posting him. Anyways-
So, me and my friend @buggym1lk have created a Dispatch fic because we lack self control. Second Chance follows the story of two people on the road of discovery and redemption. They meet and fall for familiar faces as they learn to heal, but not everything is as it seems. What happens when they finally let down their guard?
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
This is my second work in this lovely fandom, but the first large work I’ve undertaken. I can’t guarantee consistency or phenomenal work, but I can ensure our passion and love for this work and its characters. Please check out and enjoy the stories of our two boys!
Wow I really blanked there, but I’m back I guess for this. Totally not playing favorites here..
This is honestly a short story I’ve had in the works for a while but I’ve only now gotten the courage to post about these two. So, have Adan and Lord Scourge!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
It’s quiet when consciousness greets Adan. Though the quiet is quickly followed by a dull throbbing in his head that only grows more prominent.
While the effects carbon freezing shouldn’t linger like this, especially after the antidote Lana gave him, but the headaches and migraines persist. Though it might have been the years of being thrown about when fighting catching up to him, still he’s almost positive that it was the five years in carbonite that really hit the nail on the coffin.
A soft almost inaudible groan escapes the Jedi as he buries deeper into the sheets and the warmth beside him in an effort to block out the sensation and go back to sleep. Though, he fails rather miserably.
With a soft sigh he pushes himself up, blinking away what drowsiness he can. He looks to the man he’s currently half settled on, a position he finds surprisingly natural after such a recent shift in his life. His eyes rake over the sleeping Sith next to him, his shadowed crimson skin, the bone spurs and divots in his skin, smiling a little as he spots the smallest frown on Scourge’s sleeping face.
Wishing not to wake the man, Adan carefully extracts himself from the sheets and the Sith’s grasp. He walks towards the adjacent bathroom off to the right, his superior night vision helping him find his way through the darkness of his room.
The door hisses open as he slips inside, stopping in front of the sink. He pulls open a drawer to his left to look for the container of painkillers he got from one of the medics on base. When the issue first arose they didn't exactly have anything to spare, let alone the Alliance or its support with it. He used to meditate to relieve the pain when it was bad but Valkorian usually had something to say and it would only cause an even worse headache. Still, he's thankful for the small prescription that their medical officers have given him now.
Adan grabs the case he needs and closes the drawer. Grabbing a small cup off to the side of the sink, he fills it with water before taking one of the tablets and swallowing it with the water.
Putting the small case back into the drawer, he closes his eyes and goes through a few breathing patterns that he's found to help him not focus on the pain, and he's also found it to helps him to relax.
In for four, hold for seven, out for eight. Repeat.
He grips the edges of the sink to ground himself as he takes a moment to breathe, subconsciously reaches out into the force as he does. He feels the abundance of signatures around the room from the mass amount of potted plants he houses. He feels them faintly humming as they always do; the calming cyan from a pair of swap lilies, a warm glow from speckled leaves, a vibrant green from his hanging vines. The familiar sensation relaxes the Jedi further into a state of calm. As he reaches further out, he feels Scourge as well, but not asleep. The Sith's sunset hue and warmth is alert in a sign of wakefulness.
Adan slips out of the subtle meditation he'd slipped into and turns towards the door. The door hisses quietly as he walks into the room. Unsurprisingly, he finds Scourge propped up on his elbow as he looks toward him.
"Are you alright?" The larger man inquires as he tilts his head, knowing Adan isn't usually awake before him. "Headaches again?"
"Yeah. I just went to grab a something to help." The Jedi explains as he goes to settle in the bed, slipping back under the sheets.
"Didn't mean to wake you." He adds as he settles himself back at Scourge's side, resting his head on his shoulder and pressing a quick kiss to his jaw, mindful of his bone spurs. Scourge seems mostly settled by the words as he lays back down.
"You can make it up to me by going back to sleep." The man mumbled as he let his hand rest on Adan's waist, clearly intent on having them both rest.
The Jedi just smiles, only a soft quirk of his lips; he doesn't need to be told twice. He relaxes against Scourge's frame, pressing a another kiss to the man's shoulder before closing his eyes. He briefly feels a soft peck to the top of his head before he feels Scourge truly settle again.
Adan's smile widens as he lets the pull of sleep take him without resistance.
I completely forgot about yesterday’s prompt and with studying for exams I forgot to plan for today as well. So, I just wrote for today!
This will be starring my smuggler, Victor, from yesterday and his best friend X’jad(Sh-Ah-D), my bounty hunter and mandalorian.
"I can't believe I let you talk me into this…" Victor grumbled, running a hand down his face.
"Ha! Funny, considering how easy it was." The mandalorian retorts, a grin spreading behind his grey helmet.
Both of them were quite close to winning now, both stripped down to just their pants–though X'jad was able to hold onto his helmet. The larger man had two cards left and he knew they were a winning pair. Looking over at the brunette ahead of him, he watches as the man lay down his final cards in defeat. X'jad throws his down his winning hand and cackles, the sound ringing through the smuggler's small brigg.
"And that's game." He cheers all too happily as he leans back in his chair. He can't help but tease the man. "Though I'm sure Akavvi with appreciate your walk of shame back to your room."
"She's my wife. I'm more worried about Ladia seeing me like this." The smuggler grumbles as he strips off his pants in loss, tossing them over to the pile of clothes.
"I'm sure the little tike is fast asleep. Besides I still have to make my own exit." X'jad shrugs as he stands, cleaning up their little game of strip sabbacc.
"I hope Theron gives you an earful when he sees you get back this late in just your damn pants and helmet." Victor chuckles to himself as he also stands grabbing his discarded clothes as he does.
"Oh, I'm sure I'll get an earful of something." The mandalorian smirks under his helmet.
"For fuck's sake-" Victor tries to sigh but only chuckles. They both end up howling in laughter but try, and fail, to muffle themselves as to not wake the whole of the ship. Calming down. X'jad slips off his helmet, letting raven hair spilling over his midnight blue shoulders.
"That was a good game vod." He grins as he pats the smaller man on the shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah." Victor scoffs before rolling his eyes fondly. His icy eyes find the chiss' scarlet ones easily. "It was a well needed break."
And with that they gather their clothes and armor before departing, both talking their walks of shame back to bed before the sun rises in a new day.
Not me almost forget today’s prompt. Anyways, I thought this was an iconic line from the smuggler, plus I wanted an excuse to draw Victor. This was quickly drawn and I chose the wrong canvas size, but this is for fun, it’s fine.
