“No emotion, but one. No bond, but one.” would’ve been a way cooler Scorpio Code imo. All you can be is devoted (the emotion) to the Scorpio part of the government (the bond). It’d encourage obsession with the code and be the one place Scorpios could legally try to weasel in expressing other emotions. That and I think it’d help fuel the oppressive religion allegory better

Thinking age of Scorpios again and if Milo loves wolves so much why not make all the animals on Gardian evolved from dogs. Like, this giant empty landmass with no animals, but you bet people would’ve brought their dogs. So dogs have since evolved to fill all the ecological niches needed. Could’ve been intresting if nothing else

Game where some childhood friends human and mermaid want to find some legendary mermaid treasure together, so they set sail to find it, only to immediately wreck after sailing into “mermaid waters” without a navigator. They find a navigator, who’s the most sopping wet depression version of Jack Sparrow you can thing of, and convince him to help. Sailing across the ocean, they meet all these different mermaids with their own likes, and hopes, and fears. The more mermaids you meet, the more this big web affinity chart connects them together… and accentuates the big gaping hole where someone else should be. These giant whale matrons, schools of tiny little lassies, and hostile shark maidens all think the pair is a little dumb for going through all this danger, but they’re succeeding at all these trials so why not help? Until the final mermaid, who looks at the pair and superimposes that big affinity chart onto their map, turning it into the final directions to the treasure. And they do! Until they reach this tiny little island, with a tiny little cabin. And the navigator steps off the boat, taking a key out of his pocket and unlocking the front door. This was his house, his home he made with a mermaid many years ago. But they’re gone now, so he left. Even still, the mermaids kept the place safe. It’s where their sibling’s most precious memories were made, their true treasure. The navigator hands the key to the human and mermaid pair, and tells them to do what they want with the place. Perhaps make some new memories, something that could one day be called a treasure too.

Samwell mens hockey’s favorite baker—and championship-winning senior captain—has graduated! How will the team survive? Problems abound as their new captain, Dex, learns that the effortless balance Bitty maintained on the team isn’t as easy as it looks. Then, ultra-aloof Nursey must finally drop his “chill” and get vulnerable in a senior poetry seminar. And to make matters worse, Chowder faces the dreaded ‘SSGS’ and is having the worst season of his college career. But when change arrives at Samwell hockey, it not only threatens to rip the team apart, but could destroy Dex, Nursey, and Chowder’s friendship forever. Before they graduate, to save their team and themselves, the three seniors must come together and ask the question: ‘What does Samwell hockey mean to you?’

Guys look at me, age of Scorpius would’ve been so much better if the continent setting was Atlantis. Like, a continent that rises from the ocean when humanity needs it the most, and then sinks back into the ocean when they don’t.

Because then at the end of the series, the last book could be Atlantis “deeming” humanity to not need it anymore and humans as ready to go back out into the rest of the world. So it would threaten to and start sinking again. Which all the characters would have to try A) stopping it to avoid everyone dying, leading to then B) everyone realizing they can’t stop it and needing to evacuate.
