THE VAMPIRE LESTAT EP 7 SPOILERS AHEAD !!
What's going on with Alex? How did a minor book character ended up being Gabrielle's fledjling? Being brainwashed by Armand? Working with Talamasca and being a daywalker apparently?
Is he even Alex right now?
How do you think Alex is going to find out that Armand killed his brother guys. It seems like Alex and Armand still have unfinished business that will be carried on to season 2??
Here is what I think.
Raglan seems like the most likely person to have evidence of Larry’s death. He would not tell Alex because he cares about him; he would do it because the information could be used to manipulate Alex, weaken Armand, or force Alex to cooperate with the Talamasca. Since Alex already knows Raglan, their connection may exist specifically to set up this reveal. The evidence could be footage, a recording, or a Talamasca report showing Armand approaching Larry before his death.
I also think Armand may eventually confess once the evidence becomes undeniable. But instead of apologizing, he will probably justify it. He may claim Larry threatened Alex, interfered with their relationship, or needed to be removed for Alex’s protection.
Even then, I do not think Alex will immediately abandon him. He may betray one of Armand’s plans or turn against him temporarily, but I have a feeling Alex will still stay. Either that or he gets killed😭
How I see Alex and Armand’s relationship. HOT🔥🔥
THE VAMPIRE LESTAT EP 7 SPOILERS AHEAD !!
My analysis on Alex because I’m obsessed
Spoilers ahead
Alex might be the only character who could appear throughout an entire finale, reveal several important connections, and still leave us knowing absolutely nothing about him.
The biggest mystery is obviously his relationship with Armand. The finale confirms that Alex is not merely someone Armand manipulated for one plan, they clearly have an established relationship. Alex seems to trusts him and apparently knows much more about Armand’s world than we thought. But what exactly is Armand to him? His teacher? His maker? His sponsor? His handler? Something romantic? The show gave us just enough to prove that their connection matters without explaining how it began or why Alex remains so loyal to him.
Then there is the fact that Alex can now walk around during the day. I initially assumed Armand taught him how to do it, although I am beginning to wonder whether “taught” is the right word. Maybe Armand gave him stronger blood or provided some other kind of protection. Either way, Alex has developed abilities that a relatively new vampire should not possess so easily, which suggests that Armand has been personally training or strengthening him behind the scenes.
Alex also seems strangely familiar with Daniel. Their interaction does not feel like two people meeting for the first time. That raises another question: **How long has Alex actually been involved with Armand and Daniel?** We have been viewing him as Lestat’s quiet guitarist, but what if he has been moving between both groups?
And now he somehow knows Raglan too? Raglan has connections to the Talamasca and is already known for involving himself in other people’s business, so Alex knowing him opens an entirely different set of possibilities. Was Alex working with Raglan separately? Did Armand introduce them? Has the Talamasca been watching Alex? Or has Alex quietly become the link connecting Lestat’s band, Armand, Daniel and the Talamasca?
Then there are the **matching bracelets**. The show deliberately made sure we could see them, yet nobody explained what they represented or why Alex and Armand had them. Matching bracelets are far too specific to be meaningless. They could symbolize their relationship, a promise between them, sobriety, protection or even Armand’s ownership and control over Alex. The show stylist saying the bracelet represents balance still doesn’t explain why they have matching bracelets.
Despite all these suspicious connections, Alex remains one of the most unserious people on the show. He can survive vampire conspiracies, secretly work with Armand, know Daniel and Raglan, and apparently become a daylight-walking vampire but he could not score **one single bowling point**? Please be serious 😭I thought he was mute but it seems like he just choose not to speak when spoken to😭
Also let’s talk about Alex bowling name. Boo Radley, whose real name is Arthur Radley, is a mysterious neighbor in *To Kill a Mockingbird*. Scout and Jem initially believe he is frightening because of the rumors surrounding him, but he is later revealed to be gentle, observant, and protective. He even saves them when they are attacked. I think this could foreshadow Alex’s role next season. Right now, we may see Alex as suspicious or even evil, but he could eventually do something heroic. It makes me wonder if he might die trying to save someone possibly Armand or Lestat. I really hope not, though.
This was supposed to be my Alex analysis, but the finale somehow left me with more questions than answers. Who is Alex to Armand? What happened between them offscreen? What do those bracelets mean? And how has Alex quietly become connected to almost every important person in the story while pretending to be nothing more than the slightly awkward guitarist standing in the background? At this point, I hope to see more of him in season 2
So we are never going to get the context of this friendship bracelet
Unfortunately I see the appeal of AlexMand 😔
Sorry
Same. The amount of angst we can get if Alex finds out Armand killed his brother after loyal to him will be insane. They have so much potential but no one is ready to wake that up
The only thing that sticks in my mind from the last episode that genuinely interests me is what’s going through Alex’s mind.
The Alex that came back after Larry’s “suicide” is somber, dark, and unusually quiet. He’s docile, but only on the surface and he’s always watching Lestat. We don’t know when he started teaming up with Armand and Daniel, but I can assume it was shortly after Larry’s death.
Seamus Patterson said Alex is innocent and naive and thus easily manipulated by people like Armand, so it’s entirely believable that he somehow managed to make him turn on Lestat. Maybe made him blame himself or blame Lestat for pushing him too hard. Either way, it did something to him. The neglect he gets from his maker and frontman also doesn’t help.
Since established negative human feelings heighten greatly with vampirism, what was sparked after Larry’s untimely death probably magnified a shit ton when he was turned. And one thing I’ll give him props for is his ability to hide his emotions and block his thoughts from Lestat this entire time. But hey, it’s not so hard when you’re learning from one of the strongest vampires of the modern era.
Alex wants something out of all this and it seems Armand has given it to him in every way possible. But hey just seems empty and it’s not guaranteed that rolling vampire heads down the bowling lane will make it any better.
Alexmand is canon (to me), but not as a replacement to devils minion. Alex is their third and he's basically one of those little purse dogs rich ladies carry around
