Honestly, platform heels are absolutely not my favourite thing to wear for pole, but they are deeply connected to the history and modern context of pole. ykw i get why the merlin fandom is still active after a decade of the show ending bc everything time I think about how Arthur and Merlin behaved around each other, I feel insane.

bc why are they playing in my face, genuinely what was the directing decision that led to making Arthur constantly make heart eyes at merlin like i get that sometimes fans blow things out of proportion with some ship moments, but merthur is not one of those things because they just have them doing THE most gay shit with no reasonable explanation.

like them running around with a pride flag would be more subtle than whatever they're doing on that show.
