Does anyone have any tips for finding your sight at one arrow in archery?
Like—where do I aim my arrow when I don't know my sight for 30m and 90m? Three years in competitive archery and I still don't understand shit
I'm 5'3' btw

Trinity tries to nest.
Well, not really..
What's she's really doing is watching lazily as her oh so perfect girlfriends fuss over the bed for the millionth time. Yolanda was fluffing up the pillows and mushing her face against her sweaters because she read somewhere that that was how you scent shit. And Baran was reading through a book with her glasses perched on her scrunched up nose trying to calculate how big exactly the nest had to be.
Trinity snorts from her spot on the TV cabinet stand thing. Like some cat watching her humans build a cat tower she'll never end up using. "This is dumb. You shouldn't even bother with this for my sake."
Yolanda sends her a glare, "No." she states. In a voice that only serves to amuse Trinity more.
"No?"
"No." Yolanda sighs, dropping her shirt onto the messy `nest`. "You don't get to just sit there and laugh at us for caring."
It was just a statement. But Trinity's sarcasm melts away as easily as her heart. As for the longest time—Trinity realized—that no one had ever really taken a moment to help her through her biology that wasn't just another dose of suppressants.
Baran smiles, feet padding softly towards the omega. The eldest woman pulled her close and Trinity whines into her chest
"There, there, sweet thing...you're so soft sometimes."
"Shhup aup, am nhot.." (shut up, I'm not)
And Baran cooes. Trinity would rather die than admit she likes being held like this. Being let to just be her.
It was unfamiliar. But oh so right.
"Okay, I think it's time we try out the nest." Yolanda calls out, patting the last blanket over their creation.
Trinity peeks her head up over Baran's shoulder. "That shit still looks ugly."
Baran laughs. "Whatever you say, azizam."
Trinity cursed out "Gaga" one (1) time.
And now Victoria can't stop responding with "Goo goo?" and calling her a babeh.
I lowky got back into miraculous after my 6-month hibernation of completely ignoring it and jeez....
These kids need therapy.
We all need some whimsy in life 🤍
Baran Al-Hashimi gets slapped with a trauma case of a mother, victim of domestic abuse, in the process of loosing too many blood that she's at risk of having a miscarriage.
She was about to let Abbot handle the situation but the woman holds her hand tightly like the many in Kabul and cries, "Please please pleasepleaseplease—don't—I can't loose my baby...my baby, save them, please—!"
Save the baby!
Dr. Al-Hashimi—my son, my sweet sweet son—
She's all I have, please save her!!
Oh, my baby, my baby, I'm so so sorry
NO—!
Before Baran knew what was happening, she was watching the mother be wheeled away into an emergency surgery. Safe. Breathing. Alive.
But not the child.
:)
It's so weird being a polyglot because sometimes, you always have that one language as your baseline. And it's never your mother tongue.
Istg, despite not using English as my daily verbal language, I still have to translate everything into my native tongue.
I'm more advanced in English than the languages I use daily! What even is that??
Ilocano? Tagalog? Isneg?? Nope! Don't know them.
I blame colonization.
A/b/o garsashimi where Trinity is an omega, and Baran and Yolanda are betas.
Preheat omega Trinity that whines whenever she can't leave a permanent bonding mark on her girlfriends.
Preheat omega Trinity that's absolutely feral whenever she catches stray scents sticking into her beloveds' skin. (Nevermind that they work in a hospital and that it's practically a breeding ground for scent smoothies.)
Preheat omega Trinity that's absolutely downright ridiculous trying to keep her mates to the nest she so carefully made for all three of them.
Beta Yolanda, who had always felt her status inferior to an alpha, hold onto her purring engine of a girlfriend as tight as she can. Because jeez, if she's not holding tightly enough, the girl will growl in her sleep. Beta Yolanda Garcia who spent years proving she was not less than just because of her secondary gender and race, let herself just be towards her loves.
And beta Baran who curls up behind Trinity and laugh quietly at Yolanda's unobstructed awe over their mate. Beta Baran who had spent years having a difficult time forming a connection towards other non-betas for the scenting thing, who had a difficult time trying to help her son when he first presented as an omega, holds onto the women who became no less than her wives.
Trinity who's never felt so safe in her life, Yolanda who's never felt so wanted, and Baran who's never felt so understood.
Oh, Tantalus, I understand you on a deeper than personal level.
Cause imagine being offered a scholarship to a big school, to you're dream school. Only to have to reject it because even with that scholarship, you wouldn't be able to afford surviving, let alone living.
I reached for the sun, the moon, the stars but I'm still left falling back to earth.
It's kinda ironic that when I was younger, I locked myself up in my room pretending I wasn't there on a school day just so my sister wouldn't force me to do housework whilst I was sick. I was all about needing to get better by Tmr cause I had a big project coming up so ironically, I shut myself in a barely ventilated room with my fan off because it would make too much noise regardless, nearly suffocating myself just so I could get better.
I was so smart but so so stupid.
Wow it's so amazing when your parents just blame you out of nowhere.
Isn't it great that one moment, you're just minding your own business then suddenly, you're being yelled at because something went missing and they don't want to take responsibility as the full grown adult?
I'm being strangely productive today...
I think I need to go to the hospital
I need a word for that feeling you get when you help people out, but some of those people aren't necessarily nice to you. So you feel like you don't want to anymore. Help them out.
But you've been holding onto your emotional intelligence and understanding cause your own head is a pretty fucked up place by the words of your friend who studies physchology.
But you've been trying to stay mature even if they're older than you and you've been trying to not let those childish comments get to you your mind does enough damage already.
So despite yourself, you still help out. Even if you wish to just pull away, let yourself be the child for once.
Omygod imagine being put into a situation where you're classmates are actively "shipping" you with a guy while actively ignoring the fact that you came out to them to stop the harassment before you came out to your parents.
Yeah...
Couldn't be me.
Managing to "snap" out of a depressive state is always so weird to me.
One second, I have this constant buzz in my head that just won't leave. It's not even like I'm even thinking about self deprecating sht, my head is just so quiet in the worst kind of way for one second. One second that could turn into days—even weeks—of being "lazy" and playing like a sleeping beauty corpse that just won't move.
But then, poof! I'm suddenly back in my own body, like nothing even happened.
Do people actually enjoy having someone be so close to your personal space? If anyone but my girl touch at most 2% of my skin, I'd be sent to jail for attempted arson.
Grabe isa nalng.
Ba't ako nagpro-procrastinate kasi??
