There's this funny moment in the canon when that Turk Sollozzo, kidnaps Tom right after the hit on the Godfather.

Sollozzo was a guy who wasn't really clued in on the family's internal shit and thought Tommy was just some hired lawyer (it apparently didn't bother him at all that EVERYONE there was Sicilian - fuck, I'm sure even the dogs were imported straight from Sicily - and then there's this blue-eyed blonde diva just hanging around).

I think the other Five Families knew Tom was Vito's son; otherwise, their informants are complete shit.

But what did it look like to everyone else? Like?? Oh, this random Irish or German-looking dude just got out of law school and now lives in the house of one of the most powerful men in New York just for shits and giggles? Is Vito running a charity center for recent college graduates or something?

Ps. I hope it's clear what I wrote through the translator, I'm not sure that everything is one hundred percent correct, but the thought seems to be conveyed correctly.

Why are we as a society not talking about Carlitos Way (1993) ? Because it's hot al Pacino running around NYC in middle of summer in a black trench coat. It's got the soundtrack of a romantic drama (which half of the movie is anyways). He's likely in love with his dumbass coked up lawyer. Hes trying to quit. He dances in his club a lot. He does his silly little run a lot. His Puerto Rican accent comes and goes as it wills. Masterpiece.
