My father passed away 6 days ago. When he took his last breath, I lost my breath too. My mother whispered in my ears to say :
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un, Allahumma ajirni fi musibati wa akhlif li khairan minha‘ (Verily we belong to Allah and truly to Him shall we return. O Allah! Protect me in this calamity that has befallen me and replace it with something better)
I said this planting a kiss on his cold forehead. That was a moment I was never ready for in my life. "But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.

May Allah bless all our parents with abundant mercy and forgiveness and give them the highest rank in Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah lighten up the qabr of all our parents who passed away and open doors of Jannah for them. ❤️
