Netflix has never made a big deal on password sharing, but a new test suggests the company might reconsider.

Netflix is trying a new policy with some customers, prompting some people to sign up for a separate account if they're not watching with the subscriber.

The message reads: "If you don't live with the owner of this account, you need your account to keep watching." The Streamable first reported on the trial.

According to a spokesperson, Netflix tries "hundreds" of tests per year with selected customers."This test is designed to ensure that people who use Netflix accounts are allowed to do so," Netflix said in a note.

The process may not lead to a broader crackdown on password sharing. The test could be applied for account security and password sharing.According to research company Magid, about 33% of all Netflix users share their password with at least one other person. Netflix's basic plan costs $8.99 per month. The company's standard plan is $13.99 per month, which allows users to watch Netflix on two screens at once. Historically, Netflix hasn't done much to stop password sharing, as the strong growth in the number of subscribers and the price of its shares have offset any concerns about lost revenue. International Women's Day, also known as IWD for short, was born from the workers' movement to become an annual event recognized by the United Nations (UN).

The seeds were planted in 1908, when 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter working hours, better pay, and voting rights. It was the Socialist Party of America that declared the first National Women's Day, a year later.

The idea of making the day international came from a woman named Clara Zetkin. She suggested the idea in 1910 at an international conference of working women in Copenhagen. There were 100 women there, from 17 countries, and they unanimously agreed to his suggestion.

It was first celebrated in 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The centenary was celebrated in 2011, so this year we are technically celebrating the 110th International Women's Day.

Things were made official in 1975, when the United Nations began celebrating the day. The first theme adopted by the UN (in 1996) was "Celebrating the past, Planning for the Future".

Bid Worth Over Rs. 77,000 Crores by Telecom Companies : Spectrum Auction 2021

The first day of the spectrum auction is concluded with bids worth more than Rs. 77,000 crore in four rounds distinct from the participating bidders, namely Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio. The last auction of the government spectrum comes five years after the last auction, which took place in 2016. Instead of bringing radio waves for 5G networks, the government decided to place the rod for 4G networks, in particular at 700MHz, 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, Bands 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz and 2500 MHz.

Exceeding the pre-bid estimates of Rs. 45,000 crore, the government attracted provisional winning bids of Rs. 77,146 crore in total during the first day of the 2021 spectrum auction. The spectrum of 2308.80 MHz was submitted for the offer, of which offers were received for 849.20 MHz - or more than 36 percent of the total spectrum - on the first day.

Nearly 65% of the 800MHz spectrum and 89% of the 2300MHz spectrum were sold on the first day of the auction, according to an official press release. The government was also able to sell 38% of the radio waves offered in the 900MHz band, 41% in the 1800MHz band and 9% in the 2100MHz band. However, the participating telecommunications companies showed no interest in the 700MHz and 2500MHz bands on the first day of the 2021 spectrum auction.
