yeah i was listening to the code by nemo (banger btw) and it is such a dev song. dev being the team fortress 2 au of saar (here's his toyhouse that i still need to code, ironically)

general rundown of his lore below the cut for those interested

he isnt actually human! he's the one and only android of his kind made by gray mann. this of course causes a shit ton of identity problems for him, since his entire life he was treated as nothing more than a machine executing a program. gray constantly threw him around, hurt him, and put him through immense trauma. dev didn't even see it as abuse, just as 'being stress tested' as a machine. poor dude

things happen, gray dies, he gets kidnapped by classic, respawn shenanigans ensue, he ends up with the mercs (and assist, in his cannon), kills the entirety of classic, and now hangs around with the team as the token twink

i really hate filtration system. don't get me wrong, it is beautifully designed and the concept is executed amazingly, i just hate dark and enclosed spaces, and filtration system is both of those. sigh
