NCT said with their own damn voices that they did not want to be like other kpop groups, they do not want to be compared to other kpop groups and they do not want to be mistaken as other kpop groups. they said there is something that makes them special and different from other kpop groups and that they hope people will see that soon (and you’d think as nctzens we would already know that and yet some of us seem to have somehow missed just how different and special our faves are) they’ve had to tell this to western interviewers. they got called b*s and their name was written wrong twice.

as their fans, we should be the first ones to have their backs. we should be telling everyone why nct can’t be replaced, why nct are the unique group and people that they are. but instead I have to see fucking nctzens saying that NCT want what exo has, or that they wish to be exo. no. there is a difference between admiring their sunbaes and wanting to replicate them. and in no fucking interview or article have they ever said that they want to be the next exo or want to replicate them.
