“We seldom realize, for example, that our most private thoughts and emotions are not actually our own. For we think in terms of languages and images which we did not invent, but were given to us by our society. We copy emotional reactions from our parents, learning from them that excrement is supposed to have a disgusting smell and that vomiting is supposed to be a unpleasant sensation. The dread of death is also learned from their anxieties about sickness and from their attitudes to funerals and corpses. Our social environment has this power just because we do not exist apart from a society. Society is our extended mind and body. Yet the very society from which the individual is inseparable is using its whole irresistible force to persuade the individual that he is indeed separate! Society as we now know it is therefore playing a game with self-contradictory rules.”

We never know an object, we only know our knowledge of the object. Knowledge is only made of knowing and knowing is only Consciousness. In this way we reduce the object into mind and mind into Consciousness, and then realise that there was only ever that. So, first of all there seem to be nouns (houses, cars, bodies, people….) then there seem to be only verbs (seeing, hearing, tasting…) then there is only Being

YOU ARE NOT BODY
Witchcraft 101: Letting Go
Sometimes there are things in life we can’t control. No matter what that may be, it can leave behind emotional baggage for a long time after the situation has passed. Personally, I tend to hold on to, and get upset about, a lot of small things (or, things that today me would consider small). I wrote up this spell for those of you who have the same struggle with holding onto things.
‘It’s Time To Let Go’ Spell:
What you will need:
A piece of paper and pen
A blue candle
Onyx, Smokey quartz, and/or black tourmaline (feel free to use any others that speak to you!)
A small mirror (to set your work on)
Herbs:
1. Sage: for wisdom and clarity
2. Rose petals:
Yellow: as a thanks to the past relationships you may be letting go
Red: for self love, and another thanks to any love you are letting go
3. Basil: Protection
4. Coffee: to give energy to your spell
5. Salt: Protection
6. Rosemary: cleansing and protection
7. Bay leaf: truth
The spell:
Write down all your intentions on the paper. Write down what feelings you’re wanting to let go of from what situation. (Be specific!!!)
Anoint your candle and feel free to carve intentions onto it. When anointing your candle, make sure to start from the wick and move away. (I had a pyramid candle, so I wrote forgive and forget on alternating sides)
Fold your paper into half, then thirds vertically. Unfold then do the same thing horizontally. This will hold your herbs.
Place all your herbs into the center most part of the paper, fold and place this on the mirror. Then, place your candle on top of the paper.
Arrange your crystals around the spell. There’s no specific way to do this, just do whatever feels right.
Light your candle! As the wax melts down the sides, it will naturally seal the paper.
That’s it! Be safe in your work and blessed be!
Letting go and looking forward 💙💙
