Plaza de la dignidad Two months have passed. Things are likely not gonna change in a long time.
The president went full retard, thinking his authorian bacchanalia will stop the protests. We are on a semi-parlamentarist essay of what is -probably- going to be the result of the recently approved constitutional reforms.
Nearly a month has passed since the beggining of the massive unrest over neoliberalism and late stage capitalism in Chile, and things are -likely- not gonna change for a long time. Every day there are big protests being held in the biggests squares, plazas, streets, commercial centers and virtually every relevant space of public life. Usually, Fridays hold the biggest, most massive protests.
The birthplace of the Latin American neoliberal experiment will also be it’s tomb.

I made this photo a day before October 18th. Everyone in Chile knows the meaning of that date by now. The big difference between what is happening today in Chile, and the horrors and unhealed wounds of our recent past is that now, every citizen is equipped with a camera on the pocket. And every citizen is aware of the police atrocities. You can find lots of photos/videos of what is happening right now in Chile as I write this.
