i suck for not being here..just managing other accounts, uni is hectic too..
[I’ve had this account for a little longer than two and a half months, and I already have 850 of you lovely people following me - it’s time to celebrate that, and thus, I’ve decided to organise a little giveaway! And what better way to celebrate than, as the hobbit of fashionable knitted neckwear, by giving away some scarves!? So, to keep my loves warm during the coming winter months, you can win one of the scarves seen above by:
- following this hobbit *points at self* (you don’t have to be a roleplay blog)
- reblogging this post - likes don’t count!, however, the more often you reblog, the more likely it is that you’ll win!
- messaging me in case you have any allergies to certain fabrics, so I can make sure I don’t send you a scarf that will make you sneeze or itch
- being comfortable with giving me your address and trusting me not to randomly show up at your house and raid your fridge - which I won’t, I have better things to do and an own fridge to raid.
Also, and this may be useful to know: I bought all of these scarves especially for you, so they are brand new and have never been worn, neither by me nor by anyone else, except for the pictures.
And here we go!
1 - The One This scarf, you guys. I know it doesn’t look like much on the picture, but it’s amazing. At a size of 170 x 85 cm, it is truly the lord of the scarves, incredibly warm and snuggly (and expensive as hell). Truth is, I loved this scarf so much I had to order one for myself as well, because I simply couldn’t bear the thought of giving this precious away if I might as well keep it to myself. >:3 This two-faced beauty (will it be red? Will it be white? You’ll never know!) is useful in wind, rain and snow and even when you’re confronted with people you don’t want to talk to (simply pull it over your head and hiss - it works, trust me!). Due to its size, this scarf can be used like a little blanket, and let me assure you that, no matter how you wear it, you will always feel fabulous and safely guarded by its soft embrace. (Though it might constantly want to return to its rightful owner, so keep an eye on it.)
The Three
2 - Éowyn
If you win this scarf, I will envy you forever. It’s gorgeous, soft and worthy of any fair shieldmaiden. Its light grey wool will protect you from the harsh winds of the grassland, and, let’s admit it, it’s simply pretty to look at. It has a somehow worn look, but a noble feeling to it, thanks to the fine fake fur it is lined with (and this is coming from someone who usually despises fur of all sorts unless it grows on a living animal). Size is 70 x 15 cm.
Frodo
Staring at you with wide, innocent eyes, these little owls will cling to and admire you wherever you go. Frodo is a real lightweight, soft and comfy, and despite (or maybe because!) of the unusual pattern simply pretty and very, very cute. I’m not even a fan of owl designs, and yet I’d love to keep this scarf! Bright colours, sweet design, cuddles all over - what’s not to like? Size 165 x 100 cm.
Boromir
Lemme be honest with you, the only reason I’m calling this one “Boromir” is that it’s incredibly pretty and snuggly. It has a sort of cashmere-y feeling to it and simply feels very good and smooth on the skin. It has a lovely, tender caramel colour and, at a length of 180 cm, is one of the longest scarves in this giveaway. Take it with you to shield yourself from any orc attacks and other inconveniences, and rely on its simple, but classy design to keep you safe and fabulous wherever you go. Not immune to arrows. Size is 180 x 35 cm.
The Lesser Ones
Legolas
Light as a dream and pretty as a dewdrop - this scarf brings a little bit of elvish finesse into your life, its simple, elegant design a joy to the eye; the smooth, silver fabric moving with the grace of Legolas’s eyebrows and looking wonderful in any situation. Though do keep an eye on it - it tends to pull odd faces at other scarves when it’s bored! Size 180 x 70 cm.
Merry
Remember the idiot that led the hobbits into the Old Forest and nearly got them all killed? …Yeah. Merry may be a little pain in the arse, but you can’t say he doesn’t have style. This autumn, the most fashionable of the hobbits will come to you in form of this (metaphorically) enchanted scarf; a real charm and a pleasure to wear, the intricate pattern of birds and branches making it the ideal companion for the coming mysterious, foggy months.
Pippin
Pippin is a very pretty little thing, lightweight and soft, and though it might not be the most ideal scarf to wear in the cold winter months, it’s suitable for any situation and weather, which means that you won’t have to shut it away into your boring wardrobe in warmer seasons. Good for you, as you certainly don’t want a bored Pippin anywhere near your clothes! Although not one of those woolly, thick scarves you want to wear when you venture out into the wilds, Pippin’s bright blue colour and lovely flower pattern will bring a little bit of light and happiness into your life.
Samwise
Sweet Sam here is exactly the right scarf for all lovers of gentle, flower-y things - soft, light and with a beautiful pattern that would make any gardener proud. Much like Pippin, it’s not a very winter-y scarf, but it can be worn inside and… uhm… well, it’s just pretty! It can’t carry the ring for you, but you can carry it! Size 160 x 45 cm.
Rosie
Mind who you’re sweet-talking! Rosie is without any doubt one of the cutest scarves I’ve ever seen, and believe me, I have seen many cute scarves. Gentle colours, subtle design, adorable flower pattern, smooth fabric - it will make you want to dance with joy. Though if you don’t treat it well, I might send a certain gardener to teach you a few things about common courtesy. Size 160 x 45 cm.
What’s left to say? Good luck - giveaway ends on November 30th, 9.00 PM GMT+1! Thank you all for following]
"We don’t have much choice Pippin.." He replied, looking toward the hobbit. "She can hold on for three days.. your Lily is stronger then you think."
Pippin sighed heavily, still cradling Lily in his arms and rocking her back and forth, hoping that perhaps she would feel it despite her blackout and be calmed and soothed by it. ”…Fine,” he muttered reluctantly, knowing that there was nothing he could do but to agree to Gandalf’s plan. Pippin couldn’t save her, and he had heard that many orcs soaked their weapons in an unknown poison that only few knew the antidote to. He cast a restless glance over his shoulder, out the window, where he knew their foes were lying in ambush, waiting for them to come out. ”Gandalf… what are orcs doin’ here in th’ Shire?”
"I don't know. But it is something I am going to find out..I think it has something to do with Miss Lily" Gandalf explained, "Not sure what, I do not think even she knows." He added on. Lily mumbled, breathing raspy. "Pippin.." She muttered, before crying out in pain making her wake up, Gandalf turned his head quickly upon hearing her cries of agony. "We need to leave as soon as the sun rises it is too dangerous now we can't wait much longer." He announced, trying to calm Lily with a form of enchantment.

Rosie

"Oy! Don't kiss th' other Pippin! He said, uhhh... he said mean things aboat yer rear end!"
Lily gave a light hearted laugh “I have no intention to do so Pip. You are my pippin” she stated ruffling his hair playfully.
Lily gave a gentle smile “One of your scarves? It is getting colder now the winter months are coming in.” She replied a small smile upon her features. “Look after it Pip.. it means a lot to me.”
Pippin nodded knowingly, remembering last winter when he’d left the house without his scarf (for ominous reasons he couldn’t remember now) and immediately caught a cold. ”Tha’s preciseleh why ye’re gettin’ one of mah scarves. ‘S far tae cauld oatside far a ladeh withoat a scarf!” His fingers gently ghosted across the silver bracelet, and for once, his face got serious as he caught Lily’s gaze, giving her a slow, heavy nod. “‘Course. I won’t lose it. I swear.”
"Thank you Pippin.." Lily whispered, placing a kiss upon his forehead.

when ur muse is just so in love with another muse that it’s ridiculous

"I made you apple pie!"
”Ye did?”
“Evereh day ye give me a reason tae love ye e’en mair!”
"that is just one point. I’m going to make you think of the other point before you can eat it." Lily explained, holding onto the pie.
“Well…” There was a sigh filled with clueless exasperation as Pippin let his chin drop into his palm, trying to think despite his hunger. ”Ye luv’ me an’ want me tae feel guid? Right now, I mostleh feel hungreh.”
It was worth a try.
"No pippin that is not the reason either." Lily replied, giving a slight huff. "Yes I love you but that is only partially the reason."

"Alright.. but still keep the blankets around her Peregrin." Gandalf replied, carefully taking Lily over to Pippin, resting her on the sofa for now. "She might need taking to the elves if it really doesn’t improve." The old wizard advised solemnly almost.
Pippin took Lily into his arms, gently, as if she were made of raw eggs and some of them had cracked already. With one hand, he struggled to draw the blankets tightly around them both - he couldn’t risk to waste any of their precious body warmth! "The elves,” he repeated, feeling his brow furrow in reluctance. He didn’t want to take Lily to the elves. He wanted her to get better, right here and now, in his arms, on this sofa, and the thought of such a long, wearisome journey wrapped itself heavily around his neck as he stared up at the wizard. “That’s a lang wey. Frodo bareleh made it when we took him from weathertop tae Rivendell.”
He swallowed, filled to the brim with bitter, restless fear.
"We don't have much choice Pippin.." He replied, looking toward the hobbit. "She can hold on for three days.. your Lily is stronger then you think."
