An improvisation on guitar. Kinda strange and a little weird. Odd at least. The last half is better than the first, I think.
About a hundred seconds of improv on my guitar.
Lost for seven minutes.
Risk & Reward
"The fishermen know that the sea is dangerous and the storm terrible, but they have never found these dangers sufficient reason for remaining ashore." -- Vincent van Gogh
From our 2014 Anniversary trip to Yosemite.
They Lie Ahead Yet
"Nothing is more responsible for the good old days than a bad memory." -- Franklin P. Adams
2 chord blues improv.
Free to Be
"Individuality is freedom lived." -- John Dos Passos
History
"Any study of history will show that most people are wrong about most things most of the time." - Miles Mathis
Nature
"Nature never deceives us; it is always we who deceive ourselves." - Rousseau When you look up to find yourself lost, do you question the map you've been sold or do you question the landscape itself?
Live phone recording of me improvising in my living room. Pretty sloppy, but improving. Looped the rhythm on a Boss DD7.
More noodling. A couple of decent licks in there somewhere.
Signal boost
i am straight edge and have been all for this for years. the pros so heavily outweigh the cons its absurd not to.
Truth & Doubt
"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things." -- Rene Descartes
The Key to Building Successful Relationships.
It is about existing in a state of rest, as opposed to a state of stress. Let the relationship grow naturally around a state of rest. Meaning, do not try to exert any force on it. Otherwise you create a situation in which you must constantly apply force to maintain it. Treat each relationship as a natural forest, not a manicured lawn.
To Win Any Battle...
Surrender to the truth. The truth is the only true victory. The thoughts and feelings of others are outside of your control. And any attempt to bring them under your control is akin to attempting to drown a river. It is risk with no real reward.
