“I’d love a beer,” Alison replied with a small smile. She thought she should’ve probably ordered something classier, but beer always tasted better than something fruity. “So you must’ve heard some truly awful stuff while you were dancing,” she thought out loud. She liked Beau, he seemed to be from her world more than some of the other staff members.

“Yeah, sure let’s go.” He said smiling a little more and walking towards her “I’m Nathaniel and you?” He offered her his arm.

Alison took his arm with a nervous smile. She wasn’t sure what it was about him, but something made the hair stand up on her arms. “Alison, but everyone calls me Aly,” she answered before she opened the door to the Greenhouse. She stepped inside first and looked around in awe. It was its own little paradise. She looked over to Nathaniel and offered him a bigger smile. “Have you been in here before?” she asked curiously.

Tanner understood to a certain extent, he was always more connected to his wolf, he was raised as a pet in his wolf body and didn’t get to have a human side until he came here. His wolf agreed with her. “I agree, um..shifter? What kind?”

“Coyote,” she answered as she stuffed her hands in her pockets. She knew he was a wolf, but she didn’t like to drag anyone’s business out in front of them. “It’ll be nice to be able to change without worrying if someone was watching... waiting to make me disappear,” she continued offering him a small smile.

X sat by the pool, humming to himself until he noticed a few guests as well as a few other pretty faces that could do with a bit of something to get them moving. Alison was sipping on her water when the music started up. She turned her head watching the man who was playing. She wasn’t much of a dancer but she did enjoy music, especially live music. She was mesmerized by the man. She could tell he was like her which was a comfort. This place seemed to be full of people slightly strange like her. She finished her drink as she watched everyone around her start to dance. As soon as the song ended, she walked over to the bar and ordered another water. She glanced back toward the singer before working up the courage and walking over to him. She took a seat nearby him. “You were very good,” she complimented simply, “It’s kind of nice to hear it instead of the constant lip smacking.”

Tanner went off her energy and smiled back at her, she was no wolf but she was..something close to it? Strange. “I’m Tanner, I’m…just a guard.” he learned that the term ‘guard dog’ wasn’t entirely..tasteful for him to call himself. He shook his head, “People don’t usually..come out this far, I was just surprised. You like plants?”

Alison nodded. “Yeah... nature’s always been a safe space you know?” she started. She wasn’t sure if he’d get what she’d meant. She realized that her mind went a lot darker than other people. “I don’t know if it’s my shifter side or the fact that life likes to fuck with me, but nature feels like somewhere I can turn my brain off,” she explained.

stephen just smiled & moved in front of her to get the pot out of the way. ‘ i’m stephen, welcome to the resort, alison. ’ he said as he nodded. ‘ it’s lovely to meet you, i hope you have a good time. ’ he told her. ‘ what do you do here ? ’

“Guest services,” she answered wondering if he was on staff or one of the Guests. She couldn’t tell right off the bat, but he seemed genuinely nice which was always a good sign for her. “What about you? Are you working or vacationing?” she asked curiously.

Beau straightened, a grin lighting his face. “Oh please fill me in,” he laughed, ordering a soda. “Damn you frequent sleazy clubs too? I worked as a stripper, so I know all about it.” He listened with a growing smile before shaking his head, another laugh escaping. “That is horrible! You win, you definitely win. Who the fuck is that disgusting?”

Aly tried to hold back her surprise when he said he was a stripper. He was certainly attractive enough for it, it just wasn’t something she was expecting from him. “Let’s just say I’ve worked at as a waitress in a lot of those clubs you probably drive by and think you’re gonna get hepatitis or stabbed in,” she explained with a small smile. It made her glad she was here, but she’d built up a tough skin from it. “A lot of guys are that disgusting,” she continued with a shrug.

Tanner was semi irritable with the full moon coming up soon, his duties were becoming less fun for him seeing as being in his wolf body was a liability for now. He stuck mainly to his groundskeeping for now.

As he went to go check on the green house, he smelled and unfamiliar female scent. Guests didn’t usually come out this far, the greenhouse was usually not a place of interest. When he came in and tapped the girl he was going to ask her to leave, until she turned around and his mood softened a bit, “I-I didn’t….mean to scare..you. I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay,” Aly said quickly, putting on a bright smile for him. He looked like he felt bad she hadn’t been paying attention. “It was my fault,” she offered with a shrug. She could smell that he wasn’t all human. If she had to bet money, she’d say he was a wolf, but that was his business. “I’m Aly... I’m new. Am I not supposed to be here? I wasn’t sure. I was exploring and I thought this place looked kind of cool,” she explained.

Nathaniel had never cared much about plants, or gardens he had wondered here because he figured it was a good think to know the resort as best as he could, but it wasn’t like he was all that interested with anything around him, until he saw someone else, he grinned when he saw he had surprised her. “I have been told I’m very quiet sometimes. Sorry to scare you.”

Alison returned the man’s smile then shrugged a little. “No harm, no foul,” she offered as she stuffed her hands into her pockets more. She was fairly certain he wasn’t on the staff, he was too well dressed. She cleared her throat a little wondering if she was supposed to suggest something to him. “Do you want to go in with me? I was thinking about checking it out,” she suggested.

He could almost smell apprehension on her as she sat next to him. Adorable, in its own way, really. He chuckled as he flipped the page in his book, turning to her, continuing to scribble on the page. “Hmm, I suppose you do have a point there.” he said in an amused tone before nodding. “What’s your name, Darling?” he asked, his fingers moving,still.

“Alison, but most people call me Aly,” she answered as she tried her best to not look at his drawings. Art was private until someone shared it. She didn’t like to invade people’s privacy. “So... can I do something for you?” she asked, in a quieter tone. She licked her lips as she moved in closer to him. She rested her chin in her hand as her elbow rested against the bar. She gave him a small smile before she moved her hand to his knee.

He hadn’t known what to expect. He’d run through scenarios a million times in his head, thinking about what would happen if he ever saw Aly again and none of them ever ended in a hug. He expected anger, or disgust, not gratitude. He smiled, returning the hug with his arms wrapped around her waist. “I don’t deserve the thanks. I’m honestly just happy to see that you’re safe. Uh, is Max okay?” It was promising that he didn’t see a ghost of Max following her around, at least it meant that there was a good chance the hunters hadn’t caught up with him. “Shit, Aly, it’s really good to see you… I mean, I didn’t think I’d see you here.”

Alison shrugged at the question of Max. She hadn’t seen him in a while. “I don’t know. He dumped me at a bar a few months after you saved us,” she explained. People always left, it was what they did. Nobody seemed to stick around long enough to truly hurt her anymore because she expected them to leave. She smiled a little when he said it was good to see her. It made her feel a little better that he hadn’t forgotten her. “It sounded... different. Maybe a little fun?” she continued unsure if she was making sense, “I’m not serving drinks or temping at some office. What about you? You get away from your family?”

he was relieved the resort had a greenhouse, he may need some herbs for some spells & potions & he was sort of glad nobody seemed to mind he took some not very often, curently, he was just checking if they had daisies for a project he was wanting to start on.

‘ oi sorry i startled you.’ he apologised to her. ‘ but you were going to trip over that pot. ’ he said, pointing to the small pot right in front of her left foot.

Alison’s eyes went down to the ground then back up to the man. She smiled as her cheeks turned red. “Right. Thank you. My luck I would’ve tripped and fallen head first into the glass,” she joked as she tucked some blonde hair behind her ear. “I’m Alison or Aly,” she introduced as she held out her hand, “I just started here.”

Finn had taken to exploring the grounds when he wasn’t trying to organise the guest services staff. It was a hard job and sometimes he felt a little guilty about it, but from what he could gather, everyone wanted to be there and they seemed to enjoy it. As he was wandering, he saw someone, a woman looking through the windows of the greenhouse. He sighed, feeling for his keys in his pocket. He had learned that people tended to forget to unlock it in the morning and he definitely wasn’t about to deny someone their exploration.

He tapped her on the shoulder, a friendly smile on his face that quickly changed to shock when he saw just who the woman was. “Wait… Aly? What are you doing here? I haven’t seen you since…” He let out a nervous breath, hoping that the fact that the last time he’d seen her he was telling her that he was a hunter and that his family was after her boyfriend. “Uh, I can let you in if you want. Shit, I’m sorry, I’m being weird.”

Aly’s eyes widened with shock as well with who just approached. The man who undoubtedly saved her and Max’s life way back when. Max had left her in a bar a few months after Finn’s heroic gesture, but it didn’t matter to Aly. She’d always wished she had had some way of thanking him for what he did. “No... not at all,” she replied with a genuine smile, “The way we met wasn’t exactly normal...” Her voice trailed off as she racked her brain for what she wanted to say. When the words didn’t come, she moved toward him and wrapped him into a tight hug. “Thank you, for what you did,” she said quietly before she gave him a squeeze and let him go.

Alison was standing outside the greenhouse wondering if she was allowed to go in. She’d always enjoyed being around nature and she was pleasantly surprised to see the resort had a greenhouse. She took a step toward one of the windows and glanced inside. She smiled at the various plants she saw lining the place.

She was lost in the sight that she didn’t hear someone come up behind her. She jumped when someone tapped her on the shoulder. “Shit!” she exclaimed then chuckled awkwardly before quickly apologizing, “Sorry I didn’t hear you come up.”

Battle spells were one of the few methods of magic Henri took something of a pleasure in. He liked to take time in the gym, cast a spell of animation on a training dummy and throwing every spell, as well as his fists at it as he could manage.

He thought he was alone when he got bored and decided to finish it off. The sigils across his body glowed as he pummeled the dummy before finally driving his fist through it the dim glow surrounding the material fading as the dummy fell apart. Sensing the other there, he chuckled breathlessly. “FATALITY! Am I right, huh? You see that shit?”

Alison had been watching the guy in the gym for a few minutes now. He seemed like he was especially violent which was something Alison needed to avoid, but she couldn’t leave either. She’d come to the gym to see what it was like or if she’d rather run outside. When he spoke to her, she cleared her throat and nodded.

“Yeah. I think he’s down for the count,” she agreed as she spotted some towels. She wasn’t on the clock but she assumed this was one of those jobs where you always had to be on. She walked a towel over to the man and offered to him.

“Just don’t hit me or anything,” she joked quietly with a small smile.

Beau’s head fell back as he laughed. On the clock and doing his best to be lively. Honestly, he thought since the party he’d gotten a lot better at it. Though, the man wasn’t sure he wanted to know what that meant. “Okay, you ain’t heard the worse of them yet. I had this guy with pink hair in Genoa ask me if I had farted, because apparently I was blowing him away.”

Alison gave Beau a strange look before she started laughing. Her laugh was loud and when it happened it lit up her whole face. She clapped her hands together thinking that was the funniest thing she’d heard in a while. “I think I can top you,” she started with a smile, “I was working at this sleazy club in Carson City and this guy told me that he shit in his pants and asked to get into mine.”

Hands well-versed in destruction are the best suited to create. It was a simple adage, but the demon held steadfast to it. For as long as he could remember, Drake had been just as proficient with the pen than he was with the blade. It was one of the few ways he had to center himself before leaning onto unspeakable violence.

He was slowly sipping his drink as he scribbled sketches onto the small notebook he held in his hand. As he noticed someone coming near him, he hardly looked up. “I take it I can do something for you?” he asked, his tone curious.

Alison’s first day of work had been uneventful. She wasn’t sure what she was expecting, but she thought there would be more than making small talk and flirting with the occasional guest. Up until now, she’d been approached but she took a deep breath and walked over to the man at the bar. She took a seat next to him and tucked some blonde hair behind her ear. “I think I’m supposed to be asking you the same question,” she replied with a light smile.
