I missed both of the zines. They aren’t being resold anywhere. I want at least one of any of this freaking books on my shelf SO DESPERATELY

My mood literally gets ruined for hours every time I remember they exist. I sound pathetic but I love these stupid guys so much. Is anyone maybe willing to resell any of the zines by any chance? Or know anybody who might?

I’m really sorry for being so desperate about such a non-issue, but it really bugs me so much might as well at least try to ask here… If you don’t know anyone who resells them, I would really appreciate sharing this post so maybe someone could find it

I have! I actually was pretty into Tally Hall last year:)

My favourite is probably “Welcome to Tally Hall”, it has some great vibes and I like the music video, too! I think a big part of it is because it doesn’t have a separate storyline but rather reflects the idea I love so much about the band itself, being a group of college friends who like writing music together. Second place would probably be “Two Wuv” for the silly melody and lyrics^^

If we’re talking not only about this specific album, I also love “The Mind Electric” (even though it’s not by the full band) a lot, I used to listen to it on repeat on my school bus rides, even the reverse part of it is genuinely sooo good sounding!

It's still so crazy that kaito's research lab had a checkered print (related to you know who)

It's an obvious forshadowing (and has been pointed out before) for kaito being the actual one in the exisal, using kokichi's voice .

It's also interesting how kokichi's lab has a similar thing going on:

His door has zodiacs , which are astrology related , and therefore , linked to space. If we hadn't seen kaitos lab before, it wouldn't be an obvious "ultimate supreme leader" lab...

Again, their parallels extend to even the position of the labs (which has again been pointed out by others) .

You have to climb loads of steps for kaito's (which is at the very top), whilst kokichi's is at the bottom . I find this ironic as in their promotional arts, the complete opposite it seen

Kaito is at the bottom, Kokichi is at the top . This specific position is kept constant throughout multiple of them due to their promotional sprite being standing vs sitting

Even kokichi's supreme chair, looks like a spaceship

Their foil dynamic is shown in the very architecture of the building . It's almost as if "even though they're rivals, they're hearts are one" huh?

I could even say the chair is linked to how kaito took kokichi's script with him to space but that's probably a stretch

Kokichi and Kaito are genuinely so interesting to look at in context of each other, even if one doesn’t ship them. Like, they are so linked in so many ways and their parallels and confrontations are very important to key conflicts and ideas of the story. They are so vital, and even more so together. Too bad it seems a lot of people actually underestimate that in favour of only liking Kokichi and ignoring Kaito, actually

(NOT A CRITIQUE OF KOKICHI FANS IN ANY WAY!!! Like whoever you like, no one is supposed to like every character, especially Kaito tbh he is a VERY controversial character, especi with how the story proposes him without too much reflection on his negative traits. But I do wish we had more focus on acknowledging the importance of Kokichi and Kaito dynamic in the fandom. Especially as an Oumota fan)
