Photo was a bit dark and of colour.....made it a bit better...

What can I say about this photo? The frame it was in, was quite contaminated and not fully captured. So I erased the frame. Furthermore, the photo on the left side was very yellowed. The yellowing of the photo paper is partly caused by improperly rinsed photo-development chemicals. And of course, sunlight is a contributing factor. I hope that the processing has made the photo more pleasant to view.

A very strange photo; you'd think having your picture taken was a happy occasion in those days. What's going on here? Are these the photographer's models playing a prank, or were these two women afraid of the camera's Evil Eye?

It must have been very important to someone to be able to take the photo with them, perhaps folded in a wallet? To keep her image close to their heart?

A visit to the photographer was important. Having a photo taken for family and posterity, so that the stories about the person could be put to a face. In the best mood, wearing the finest clothes and juwels, for seconds without moving...

A new mural by the ever elusive Bristol artist Banksy has been swiftly covered up after appearing on the walls of London's Royal Courts of Justice. The painting showed a judge using a gavel to hit a helpless protester.
