i def think queen gets overlooked. people do always say they love her when she’s brought up but compared to especially tenna i see soooooosososo much less fanart and fanfics and discussion. it may not necessarily be a case of fandom misogyny because i would say that king is even more overlooked but i also think he has less to offer as a character anyway. but yeah i do think people tend to ignore or forget about queen which is sad because she is my favorite ever
Thanks for your input on my question anon, I personally can't rule out the chance it's misogynistic as a woman myself, even if people don't Say it there's always a chance/fandoms tend to always lean masculine.
As for me, I will admit I only got back into DR bcs Tenna and Spamton's ship content kept popping up on my feed (along with memes about Kris and Susie) and I won't ever stop enjoying that content, but the women in this game have my whole heart. This game is so much more than a place to enjoy a ship even if I draw yaoi stuff a lot.
