Sometimes the hardest thing you can do is stay soft for those you love. Especially if you've been hurt. Trust yourself and the rest will follow. That part can be hard too. I have faith in you.

My dogs got me out of bed just in time to clock in for work for which I am very grateful. Except it's Sunday and this frog does not have to work today. So I will spend the extra time with them because they deserve it. Spend some time with those who love you today. Human or not. Even if it's just yourself.

If you always think you have to start you never give yourself credit for how far you've come. You're on a journey - and times will be dark, and times will be less dark, but don't forget how far you've traveled. You can get through this part of the path.

I always try to be slightly better than I was yesterday. Some days all I can do is brush my hair. A win is a win. Today, just brush.

One thing I always wanted to be good at was putting on lotion. I never did it because taking off my watch (which is water resistant of course) seemed like a GIANT hassle. So I just....take it off before I get in the pond. Then I can just put on lotion. What I'm saying is, if it's stupid and it works - it's not stupid. Do what gets you where you want to be.

It is very cold outside and this frog doesn't hibernate. So join in and put on your snuggliest pants and robe and have some cocoa. Pretend you're in a Ghibli movie. Make it special.

Today I remembered how important it is to drink water, because I drank some on accident and felt slightly less like a science project. Drink some water and have a snack. Don't be a dehydrated frog.

This little frog goes hop hop hop, right into bed! Est, sleep, and be merry. Or at least eat and sleep. If that's all you can do today that's awesome, do that. Then we will wake up to a shiny new day.

Something about sports!! We watched puppy bowl and had cinnamon buns. Do things you love, regardless of if others think you're cool.

I want to buy myself something new. I have given into this impulse too much lately. It stops being a treat at some point and becomes a habit. This leads to badness. Always treat yourself, but always put your health and happiness first. And no one is happy with maxed out cards.

The only thing standing between you and sliders is you. Don't stand in your own way.

My dog learned she loves wine today. She is too young for wine. Also she is a dog. I may be a frog, but we all know frogs drink only the finest of cheap wines. Treat yourself to your favorite feel good indulgence today. You deserve it.

Today my higher functioning was doing nothing but making the sound a microwave makes. So now I soak in my hot spring and prepare for a new day tomorrow. It's okay if today was not your best day.

I had to restart my computer twice today to make it act right. If you aren't acting right maybe take a nap and restart.

I forgot to eat today. This is not good. Remember we are beautiful frogs who deserve only the finest of insects. Eat your fruits and flies y'all.

My dogs favorite thing is snow. It snowed and she's happy about it. So find happiness in the little things or something.
